TRYING ALL 6 COOKIES ON DISNEY’S HOLIDAY COOKIE STROLL

‘Tis the season of joyous songs, powerful performances, merry decor, and tasty food. Much like myself and countless others who enjoy all of these things, the Orlando theme parks tend to go all out. This year we went out to Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays. They are providing guests a fun and tasty game called the Holiday Cookie Stroll. This exhilarating stroll allows you to wonder around Disney’s beautiful Epcot and taste test 6 Holiday Cookies! Today, we finished the Holiday Cookie Stroll and tasted all 6 cookies. With so many new additions to the Holiday season at Orlando’s theme parks, there’s sure to be a ghoulishly delightful treat that will send every taste bud in your group buzzing. So, join us as we taste test all 6 delightful cookies Epcot’s Holiday Cookie Stroll has to offer.

1. PEPPERMINT PINWHEEL COOKIE

For the first cookie on our Holiday Cookie Stroll, we stopped into Yukon Holiday Kitchen to pick up the Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie. If you love peppermint, this cookie may be for you. This delightful cookie is covered in Holiday Sprinkles around the edges and has a minty candy flavor, this is price pointed at $2.50. With this Peppermint treat, upon first taste you would expect it to be overpowered but the peppermint is very subtle and adds a very tasty flavor. This cookie brings a nice buttery feel because it’s so thick, but not dry at all! This cookie is all around delicious, if you’re looking for a peppermint sugar cookie, we would recommend this.

2. GINGERBREAD COOKIE

What’s Christmas without gingerbread cookies? Found at Festival Favorites is where you can find the 2nd cookie on your Holiday Stroll, which is the Gingerbread Cookie. You can always count on the Disney theme parks to deliver delicious and fulfilling gingerbread treats. This Cookie is super fancy with the red and green icing and just a traditional gingerbread cookie, which is price pointed at $2.50. All around this is just a simple tasting gingerbread cookie, nothing too special about it but if you’re in the mood to taste the Holiday season come get yourself a Gingerbread Cookie at Festival Favorites!

3. BLACK AND WHITE COOKIE

Next on the list we found ourselves at L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen where we picked up the Black and White Cookie. This cookie is a plant-based item and is typically a year-round snack but guests love it and they decided to add it to this year’s cookie stroll, but this cookie is up for grabs for $2.50. This is a very dense cookie and it almost seems like it has a lemon flavor, but that’s just me. This is more on the sweater side with the chocolate and the vanilla but all around we love this cookie and we loved it last year as well!

4. CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIE

If you often find yourself craving a chocolate-y and sweet cookie, make your way over to the American Holiday Table where you can find your next cookie on your Holiday Stroll. This is the Chocolate Crinkle Cookie which is just a chocolate cookie covered in powdered sugar, this is price pointed at $2.50. This is a very fudgy and chewy cookie, it’s the perfect amount of chocolate and sweetness. The Chocolate Crinkle Cookie is all around a delicious cookie and we would 100% order it again!

5. LINZER COOKIE

Almost completing our Holiday Cookie Stroll, we stopped into Bavaria Holiday Kitchen to pick up the Linzer Cookie! This is a butter cookie with a raspberry jam filling topped with powdered sugar and priced pointed at once again $2.50. The snowflake carved into the middle of this cookie really brought it into the Holiday season and made it very festive. This was a very typical Linzer Cookie and it was all around delicious. Jackson really enjoyed it and he wanted another one.

6. MINNIE PEPPERMINT COOKIE

Once you’ve completed your cookie stroll and collected all of your stamps, you can head on over to Holiday Sweets and Treats to collect your final cookie, which is the Minnie Peppermint Cookie. The cookie itself was designed to look like peppermint candies and Minnie Mouse. This cookie is complimentary with the purchase of the other 5 cookies you tasted along your stroll, but by itself its $3. When we went to pick up our completer cookie they ran out of the Minnie Peppermint Cookie so they took the Spaceship Earth Cookie and just put festive decorations on it. (The picture listed above is not the actual Minnie Peppermint Cookie but instead the makeshift one.) But upon the taste test of this cookie it was very delicious. Since this was the Spaceship Earth Cookie it had a tasty salted caramel feel as well as a buttery taste. All around this was a delicious sugar cookie, and we hope you get out to try it for yourself.
