VIDEO: Girl You Good?! Anna’s WHOLE FACE Was Missing on EPCOT’s Frozen Ride

Walt Disney World — it’s the most magical place on earth, but that doesn’t mean technical difficulties don’t happen!

Olaf and Sven

Sometimes technical issues cause Splash Mountain to go down, and other times Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has to close for a while due to some problems. Yesterday, it was Frozen Ever After’s turn as that is where one guest found a version of Anna that was a little…off (literally).

A huge thanks to our reader Nicole (@nicoleuttaro on Instagram) for capturing this moment and sending it to us! You know that phrase “I’d forget my head if it wasn’t screwed on.” Well it looks like Anna took it that a bit differently and forgot her FACE. It’s 2020, so we totally get it — some days it’s just hard to put on your face.

It seems the Anna animatronic was experiencing some issues yesterday and the face projection feature was not working properly. So, instead of eyes, a nose, and a beautiful smile, guests were treated to…well, something that could probably be in a Disney nightmare!

Frozen Ever After

This is not the first time an animatronic on Frozen Ever After has experienced technical complications. We’ve seen issues with Elsa and other parts of the ride in the past. Although the ride recently had some refurbishment done, these advanced animatronics can still have issues.

We expect that Disney worked to fix this issue immediately after it occurred. We checked the My Disney Experience app today and it does not currently show the ride as temporarily unavailable (as of 12:30PM ET), but instead lists about a 65 minute wait for this popular ride. So, if you’re looking to visit your favorite sisters from Arendelle, you can head over there to say hello, or be on the lookout for them in the EPCOT cavalcades and special meet-and-greets!

We’re always on the lookout for more interesting Disney news, so be sure to stay tuned for all the latest!
