Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Skyliner Resorts!
And, we’ve got plenty of merchandise, food, and entertainment updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
We’re kicking things off at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort!
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Entertainment Update
Disney has continued to bring different experiences back as the resorts and parks go through their phased reopening stages. While we were at the Caribbean Beach, we noticed that the playground had opened for the first time since the resort’s official reopening!
Currently, only ten guests are allowed at a time in the area as a health and safety precaution. Guests must wear masks and remain distanced from one another as well.
We also noticed that a few of the seating areas at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort were back open for guests to kick back and relax in the shade!
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Food Update
Since distancing measures are in place at the restaurants and bar areas around Disney World, Banana Cabana had added more outdoor seating for guests at the resort.
The tables are separated from one another as guests sit to eat or drink after a day in the parks!
Disney’s Riviera Resort
Now, let’s see what’s going on at Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Disney’s Riviera Resort Food Update
We hope you’re ready for lots of seasonal goodies because Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort has added a bunch of new options to its menu for the holidays! You’ll be able to find an adorable seasonal cupcake…
…and a dessert that we have unofficially named the “Christmas Cracker!”
The Christmas Cracker has an interesting combination of flavors with a pistachio tart, brownie and cherry reduction filling, and chocolate ties and medal on top for $5.99.
However, the seasonal Christmas Tree Cupcake is a little more simple (but still sweet!) as a vanilla cupcake with chocolate filling, buttercream frosting, and mini M&Ms for $5.99.

Plus, Le Petit Cafe is serving up Mickey Gingerbread Cookies that are made just for the Riviera Resort. The special ingredients in these treats include honey and rye flour…
…with a chocolate coating on the back!
Plus, you get a pack of two cookies for $5.99, which is a great deal!
Take a look at our review of the exclusive Gingerbread Cookies at the Riviera Resort here!
After all those desserts, though, you can wash it down with two seasonal drinks at the bakery as well! The Noel Blanc Glace is frozen cold brew coffee with white mocha, cinnamon, and milk (either hot or iced) for $5.99…
…while the Toasted Praline Cold Brew is a specialty blend cold brew with house-made praline marshmallow cream for $4.79.
We really loved trying both of these!
Check out our review of the two new specialty drinks here!
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Yay! Now it’s time to take a look at all the new things at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
Disney’s Art of Animation Food Update
While the Riviera Resort may have had new items on the menu, Disney’s Art of Animation is still serving up a fan-fav! The Mermaid Tail Cupcake can be found at Landscape of Flavors…
…with its Coconut Buttercream, White Chocolate Mermaid Tail, Candy Pearls, and Edible Glitter…
…on top of the Vanilla Cupcake with Pineapple Filling for $5.99.
This cupcake is both delicious and adorable!

Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Now, let’s see what’s going on over at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
Disney’s Pop Century Food Update
Disney’s Pop Century Resort has brought back the Gingerbread Bundt…
…made with ginger-spice muffin batter cake, lemon-flavored icing, sprinkles, edible glitter, and a festive penguin candy piece for $4.49.
Disney’s Pop Century Merchandise Update
While it’s new to us, we noticed that the Rose Gold Phone Case was also hanging on the shelves for the iPhone XR and iPhone 11. Anybody else obsessed with all that GLITTER?
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at the Skyliner Resorts! We’ll catch you next time for more food, merchandise, and entertainment updates! And, if you have any questions about your upcoming Disney vacation, let us know so we can help you find the answers.
