We’re back at Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street giving you all the updates.
We headed to the Disneyland Resort area to see what’s open under the new California mandate and check out the open gift shops. Here’s everything we found while exploring the area.
Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street Update
California Mandate
Orange County, California is currently recognizing a “stay at home” order that restricts retail capacities to 20% and eliminates sit-down dining. Restaurants can remain open if they deliver or serve take-out orders. At Disneyland Resort, guests cannot eat or drink anywhere on the premises. You can purchase food and eat it off the property. We took a walk through the area to see what’s open under the new mandate. Note that a few of these locations haven’t been open since the park closed in March.
- Black Tap — No CrazyShakes are being served currently.
- Earl of Sandwich
- Jazz Kitchen Express
- Jamba Juice
- Diggity Dogs
- Wetzel’s Pretzels
- Sprinkles
- Salt & Straw — Ice cream will be packaged to-go.
- Marceline’s Confectionary
- All other outdoor food carts in Downtown Disney including Kayla’s Cakes, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, California Churros, and more.
- Trolley Treats — This is the only location on Buena Vista Street selling food.
And the following locations are CLOSED:
- Carthay Circle Lounge
- Award Wieners
- Smokejumpers Grill
- Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical Cafe
- Asian Street Eats
- Starbucks
- La Brea Bakery
- Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen
- Tortilla Jo’s
- Splitsville Luxury Lanes
- Uva Bar & Cafe
- Naples Ristorante e Bar
- Ballast Point
Retail stores are still open and operating at a 20% capacity at this time.
