Merry (almost) Christmas from EPCOT!
We’re back to take a look at the new food, merchandise, and attraction updates! We spotted quite a few new items and a gift shop has reopened. Step inside a very festive EPCOT to see what we found!
EPCOT Food Update
Have you been following along with the Spaceship Earth cookie saga? Let’s recap! A new cookie was released at Holiday Hearth for the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. A few weeks later, the cookie got a holiday makeover with candy cane fondant piece and two rando stockings that made Spaceship Earth look like it was going on a hike. The cookie got another makeover and they are sticking to a more subtle design.
The cookie now features just one sugar decoration and we had a choice of an angel, stocking, and a sprig of holly. We’re cool with the understated design! Honestly, it doesn’t need much else because the shape of the cookie is Instagram-worthy on its own.

Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie
Les Halles is one of our favorite places to grab breakfast in EPCOT. The bakery is full of quiches, croissants, and French desserts. We noticed today that the Palmier pastry was missing this week. This is a crowd-favorite item basically tastes like a churro combined with the texture of a flaky croissant. We’ve seen it disappear and reappear over the years.
We’ll have to wait and see if the pastry makes a return again!
Morocco Pavilion
Morocco has seen a few changes since Disney took complete operational control of the pavilion. To accomodate the increased Christmas crowds, Morocco is hosting a small pop-up bar!
The bar will serve some french wines, champagne, and beers from now through the holidays.
House of Good Fortune
We LOVE trying the unique flavors of potato chips at EPCOT! We’ve tried everything from cucumber to candy flavored Lay’s in the Japan and China Pavilion. We spotted one more flavor that’s new to us this week. Head on over to the House of Good Fortune gift shop if you want to try the Grilled Pork chips!
We’re curious to see if it takes like a pork rind or totally different. If you’ve had them before, tell us us your review in the comments!
La Hacienda de San Angel
La Hacienda in the Mexico pavilion has been operating under varying hours since the park reopened. Previously, the restaurant was only open Wednesday through Sunday. It is now currently open 7 days a week through the holidays.
It’s not clear if the restaurant will reflect the same operating hours after the holidays. It could depend on what crowds are like after the holidays.
EPCOT Construction Update
EPCOT is still working towards its major transformation and is covered in construction walls. Here’s a few updates on the coming attractions and overhaul! Future World is getting a new look with a new pavilion and more enhancements…
…Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be a new indoor roller coaster that thrill seekers are looking forward to…
…and Harmonious is the new nighttime spectacular coming soon to World Showcase Lagoon!
One last thing, it looks like the creek that runs into World Showcase Lagoon near Mexico is being drained a bit. We’ll keep an eye out if the low water levels indicate any more construction!
P.S. Take a look at the reveal of the new entrance fountain here!
EPCOT Merchandise Update
Plume et Palette and La Signature
The perfume shops have officially reopened in the France pavilion! Also, the shops don’t only sell perfume. We spotted really beautiful new Beauty and the Beast merchandise upon reopening!
The merchandise designs are super posh. They seem to fit right into the stylish perfume shops.
Take a look at the grand reopening of the France pavilion gift shops and the new merch here!
The Tea Caddy
We also found a few souvenirs that we haven’t spotted yet in the United Kingdom pavilion. The Cast Member told us a few items moved from the gift shops that are currently closed in the UK area of EPCOT. We found a Rose and Crown shot glass…
…and United Kingdom shot glass for $9.99.
A Rose and Crown tumbler for $26.99…
…and a fun pint glass for $14.99!
Mission: SPACE Cargo Store
We also discovered something at the Mission: SPACE gift shop! An older Boba Fett Gauntlet toy showed up here. It could be making a comeback due to the Star Wars character regaining popularity and getting his own show soon. (This link will tell you all about the new Boba Fett show coming soon, but be warned that the article contains spoilers!) You can purchase the new/old toy for $29.99.
That’s it for EPCOT! Keep an eye out for more construction updates while the theme park is totally transformed!
