Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at EPCOT!

And, we’ve got plenty of construction, merchandise, and food updates to share with you! So, let’s dive right on in!

EPCOT Construction Update

Canada Pavilion

While we’ve seen the stairs closed to the upper part of the Canada Pavilion previously, they reopened again to guests so they don’t only have to use the ramp.

Although many of the shops around the World Showcase are still closed to guests, we noticed a Cast Member over in the Northwest Mercantile and merchandise boxes stacked up in the Trading Post’s windows.

France Pavilion

As Disney moves forward with its construction on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure before its 2021 opening, we get more excited every time we see some kind of progress in EPCOT. During our visit, we noticed that the signs at the attraction were lit up in the evening with Gusteau’s sign shining bright…

…and the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction sign glowing and lighting up the France Pavilion!

Here’s a look at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure signs lit up at night!

Although we’ve been keeping an eye on them, France’s perfume shops still aren’t open. Previously we’ve seen some Cast Members in the stores and the lights on, but there wasn’t any activity in the store recently.

There might be a lot of hustle and bustle happening in the pavilion with all the construction, but the fountain at the very front wasn’t turned on when we were there!

Harmonious

Harmonious construction took a big step forward as one of the barges was put into place. 

We also saw a small crane working on the floats out in the lagoon…

…as workers moved in boats to the barges also being constructed for Harmonious.

EPCOT Food Update

Waffle Booth

The Festival of the Holidays has brought a whole lot of food into EPCOT, and we’ve been enjoying the incredible eats, treats, and drinks. While the Waffle Booth recently opened in the park, it was closed during our visit this weekend.

We’re not sure if this means the booth is only open during the week, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated!

EPCOT Merchandise Update

World Traveler Gift Shop

We might only be weeks away from the start of 2021, but the World Traveler Gift Shop is still selling 2020 merchandise instead.

We also heard from a Cast Member that 2020 merchandise can be found at the Port of Entry and Disney Traders as well.
