As was mentioned on yesterday’s DIS Unplugged, the construction walls that have been in place in EPCOT’s France pavilion have been removed. I stopped by today to take a look around, and thought you might enjoy taking a look around, too. Allons-y! Let’s go!
From the Disney Skyliner, we get a great look at the area around the expansion’s sign near where the construction walls once stood. The area surrounding the addition’s entrance is meticulously landscaped.
The space behind the bushes-on-wheels looks as complete as a space can, as if those bushes could be rolled back at any moment to allow guests to enter. I just hope that if they do, it’s a moment when I’m standing there wishing and hoping that they’d miraculously move.
I hope that these pictures convey a feeling of we’re this close, because it’s something that you can’t help but think when you’re standing there.
The verdigris sign à la Paris’ Métropolitain, which features an iconic Art Nouveau lily motif, stands tall and ready to welcome guests who’ve come to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
When do you think Disney will open the France pavilion expansion? Please let me know your best guess in the comments below!
