Since the holidays, wait times have significantly dropped. We’ve even noticed a major shift in crowds this week!
Because crowds are lower, it’s interesting to see which attractions’ wait times go up and go down. And if you are going on a trip to Disney World soon, this can give you a pretty good idea of what to expect! So without further ado, let’s take a look at the average wait times from ALL four parks!
Magic Kingdom
This is the first week since we’ve started tracking the average weekly wait times that EVERY single attraction is UNDER an hour! Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest wait in Disney World with 57 minutes. We were shocked the highest wait time in ALL of Disney World was this low!
Other thrill rides in Magic Kingdom had pretty low waits. Space Mountain had an average wait time of 31 minutes, Splash Mountain averaging 34 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad averaged 39 minutes.
Other popular attractions with wait times in the same range include Astro Orbiter with an average wait time of 30 minutes, and Pirates of the Caribbean at 34 minutes.
Now let’s check out average waits in the 20s, with “it’s a small world” and Jungle Cruise at 28 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 27 minutes, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Peter Pan’s Flight at 25 minutes.
With waits in the teens, we saw The Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 13 minutes, Haunted Mansion and Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid at 15 minutes, Mickey’s PhilarMagic at 17 minutes, The Barnstormer at 16 minutes, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 18 minutes.
Other attractions with seriously short wait times include , Tomorrowland Speedway at 11 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 4 minutes, and Carousel of Progress at 9 minutes, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Mad Tea Party at 10 minutes.
And similar to last week, there were a handful of attractions with zero minute wait times, including Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, Hall of Presidents, and Enchanted Tiki Room.
The wait times in Magic Kingdom stayed about the same! If anything fluctuated, it was only by a minute or two. This is the time to be at Disney World if you like to be away from crowds!

EPCOT
Frozen Ever After and Test Track have both previously held the spot for the ride with the longest average wait time in Disney World, however, that is not the case this week! Test Track does have the longest wait in EPCOT at 49 minutes, but we’ve seen it SO much longer before.
The next highest averages come from Soarin‘ with a 27-minute wait, Frozen After Ever with a 25-minute wait, and Mission: SPACE with a 21-minute wait.
The rest of EPCOT saw really short wait times, including Spaceship Earth at 15 minutes, Journey Into Imagination with Figment at 10 minutes, the Seas with Nemo & Friends at 9 minutes, Living with the Land at 7 minutes, and the Gran Fiesta Tour at 6 minutes.
Check out where you can see Hidden Figments at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts!
Just like last week, all of the films in EPCOT had a zero minute wait, which includes Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Awesome Planet, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China. American Adventure also had no wait!
These wait times aren’t entirely surprising! The Festival of the Arts is currently happening at EPCOT which tends to draw crowds away from attractions and towards to festival booths and activities.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Usually the week’s longest average wait times come from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but that’s not the case for this week! The longest wait time in this park is Slinky Dog Dash at 53 minutes. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is pretty close behind at 48 minutes.
Other long wait times include the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 41 minutes, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 36 minutes, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at 31 minutes.

In the 20s range, Star Tours averaged 26 minutes, Toy Story Mania averaged 24 minutes, Alien Swirling Saucers averaged 20 minutes, and Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 21 minutes.
Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy saw an average wait time of 19 minutes making it the lowest wait time in the park. Keep in mind that Rise of the Resistance is not included in these numbers due to its virtual queue.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Both attractions in Pandora — the Land of Avatar have fairly short wait times in comparison to usual! Flight of Passage averaged 39 minutes, and Na’vi River Journey averaged 42 minutes, making it the longest wait time in the park.
Average wait times were relatively low throughout the park. Kilimanjaro Safaris had an average wait time of 16 minutes, Expedition Everest averaged 15 minutes, Dinosaur averaged 25 minutes, and It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 13 minutes.
Triceratop Spin had the shortest wait time in the park of 5 minutes. Kali River Rapids is currently under refurbishment.
This week’s average wait times have stayed very low! Now that holiday crowds have been gone for a couple of weeks, the crowds have really died down. We hope this look at average wait times helps those of you prepping for a Disney trip soon! Stay tuned to DFB, and check for our weekly wait times next week.
