The super low wait times we know and love in January have returned, following a slight increase over the holiday weekend. All four Walt Disney World parks dipped down to low wait times, with EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom having their slowest day of the past 30 days. Even with these low average posted wait times, the actual wait times were lower, much lower in some case. Let’s do the numbers!

Magic Kingdom Wait Times

Wait times were pretty low at the start of the day, and things really picked up as Park Hopper Hours began at 2:00 p.m.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had an average wait time today of 48 minutes. Its 7-day average is 47 minutes, so today ranks #2 for this week. Its 30-day average is 56 minutes, so today ranks #22 for the past month. We received 5 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 64% of the posted wait time.
