Headed to Disney World next week?
If you are, then you’ve probably got packing on the brain. We’re here to help! When you’re not from here (and even when you are) packing for a Florida winter can be a mystery of an experience. That’s why we’re bringing you an update on the forecast next week so you can be ready for the temperatures!
Weather Forecast
According to The Weather Channel, this week is going to be BY FAR the warmest we’ve seen in a while! We saw some warming up last week, but we’ve got some seriously springtime temperatures coming up. Take a look!
January 25th
Monday, January 25th will start the week with the HOTTEST temperatures we’ll see. That day is going to max out at an 86-degree high and we’ll see 65 degrees at night. Wowza — we might not even need to pack those layers!
The chance of rain is pretty low but the winds are going to be pretty high. Get ready for it to be a little breezy!
January 26th
The next day, January 26th, stays about the same with the mid-80s during the day and the mid-60s at night.
That low chain of rain and high chance of blusteriness continues. Like most of the week, Tuesday should be partly cloudy.
January 27th
On Wednesday, January 27th, we’re going to see temps continue to hang out in about the same place. Wow! Consistent weather in Florida? Who’d have thunk it?
This day should be relatively nice with periods of clouds and sunshine.
January 28th
For Thursday, January 28th, we’re seeing a slight drop during the day to the high 70s and a steeper drop in the evening to the mid 50s.
Yup, this is the day you’re going to want to make sure you break out those layers. 79 degrees is toasty, but if you’re out later that 56-degree low could leave you shivering.
January 29th
The week continues with another drop in temperatures and a still rainless day on January 29th.
This is the coolest day of the week and definitely another one where a scarf or light jacket will come in handy in the evening.
January 30th
Saturday, January 30th brings us a little bump higher during the day and about the same temps at night.
Here, we’re looking at a 76-degree high and a 51-degree low.
January 31st
And we’ll wrap up our week on January 31st with those temperatures sitting at a comfy 74-degree high and a brisk 51-degree low.
Sunday evening might be the only rain of the week!
Overview of the Week
Here is a full overview of the week according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures stay relatively high, but more-or-less decline as the week goes on. We’re mostly looking at 70s to 80s highs and 50s to 60s lows.
Other websites like Click Orlando News 6…
…and WESH 2 News have similar forecasts throughout the week.
Of course, forecasts AREN’T foolproof! So, don’t leave those sweatshirts at home! It looks like you’ll luck out with some gorgeous weather, but keep an eye on that forecast for sudden changes as you get closer to and during your trip.

How Should You Plan?
If you are headed to Disney World next week, we’ve got a few tips on how to plan for the weather!
It’s time to pack those layers!
We know, we know, we sound a little bit like a broken record at this point but this is a SUPER important tip. The absolute key to Florida winter is to PACK THOSE LAYERS. Yep, that means in your luggage AND in your park bag each day.
A telltale sign of Florida winter is the slingshot in temperatures between the day and the night. You can see that temps tend to drop about 20 degrees. Whew! Bring along a jacket, hat, or scarf; if you don’t, you might find yourself spending more than you like on a warm souvenir in the parks!
Wear sun protection and don’t rule out rain!
Yes, the forecast SAYS there won’t be rain but if there’s one thing to know about Florida, it’s that rain can happen at ANY time. Winter is definitely a drier season in Florida, but showers still sneak up out of nowhere. Bring a poncho or rain jacket just in case!
Plus, winter suns can actually be pretty harsh on your skin! Don’t think that just because it’s winter you can skip out on the lathering up in the morning. Make sure you and the rest of your family have plenty of sunscreen and reapply throughout the day — especially with these sunny and warmer days we’re seeing!
