It’s been a while since guests have been able to experience a Disney Cruise as Disney continues to cancel sailings.
But in the meantime, the global pandemic continues to not only delay the return of cruises, but it’s changing the way we’ll cruise when they do return. In its latest update, the CDC announced that face masks will be required on all cruise ships.
Lately though, Disney — and other cruise ships — has continued to cancel its sailings and restrict the length of its voyages.
The latest order from the CDC, which goes into effect February 1st, requires people to wear face masks while on public transportation in the U.S., and while at transportation hubs.
In CDC terms, the first section of the order says “Persons must wear masks over the mouth and nose when traveling on conveyances into and within the United States. Persons must also wear masks at transportation hubs as defined in this Order.” This includes a wide array of transportation, like busses, trains, vessels, and other conveyances used for travel.
We’ll keep an eye out for more information about Disney Cruise Line and orders from the CDC.
