New Customizable Valentine’s Day Souvenirs Available at MADE at Disney Springs

Attention, Disney Springs shoppers! New merch is available just in time for Valentine’s Day, but unlike other souvenirs found around Walt Disney World, you’re in charge of their look and design.

Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs is currently home to eight boutiques such as Disney Tails, WonderGround Gallery, The Dress Shop, Cherry Tree Lane, and D-Tech on Demand.

Now D-Tech on Demand, one of the Co-Op’s original boutiques, has been a one-stop-shop for customizing your tech accessories since 2014. But several months ago, D-Tech on Demand introduced a new print-on-demand station called MADE.

While you can still customize MagicBands, phone cases, magnets, and those commemorative bricks at this location, MADE also allows guests to customize their own apparel using a library of Disney art that includes options for holidays, birthdays, and the like.

If this sounds like your idea of a souvenir, here’s a look at what you can customize for Valentine’s Day during your visit to Disney Springs.

The magnet selection pictured above features a wide selection of characters such Mickey and Minnie, Dug from Up, Tiana and Prince Naveen from The Princess and the Frog, and Marvel-inspired Valentines in magnet form.

There’s also an “I’m Finally Home!” magnet which, while not related to Valentine’s Day, is probably something most Disney fans can relate to.

There’s also a selection of new Valentine’s Day-inspired phone cases, including a Mickey and Minnie option for couples!

Lastly, you can customize your own Valentine’s Day MagicBand featuring either Mickey, Minnie, the duo together, or a design of heart-shaped Marvel characters.

If you would like to create-your-own souvenirs at Disney Springs, you can find the Marketplace Co-Op between Tren-D and Disney’s PhotoPass Studio. Also, if you do create an item with MADE at D-Tech on Demand, know that your creation can be ready for pick-up in a few hours, or it can be delivered to your resort or even shipped home.

universal-orlando-photo-report-1-30-21-32-4325339

It’s a beautiful day to be at the Universal Orlando Resort. The weather was cool this morning, but the sun was shining, and we decided to make our way over to Islands of Adventure first. As we entered the park, it was busy, but not too crazy for a Saturday. However, we did notice Jurassic Park River Adventure was still listed as closed on the sign by the entrance. We overheard some guests behind us in line talking about how […]

NEW Drinkware at Disney World is All About Mickey!

It’s very important to stay hydrated!

Drinkware

And it’s obvious Disney thinks so, too, because we are always finding a variety of new Disney drinkware like mugs, canteens, and tumblers both at the parks and online!

Today, we found even more, and they all feature Mickey Mouse! Remember those cool Retro Walt Disney World Mugs we found? Well, we found that same design on a water bottle! This bottle is $22.99 and features that vintage font style that reminds us of old-school Disney World! Plus it matches the spirit jersey and Crocs, too!

Retro Walt Disney World Water Bottle

The pastel craze continues with this Pink and Blue Geometric-Patterned Tumbler! It’s got a sweet little Minnie bow on top, along with a graphic of Mickey ears with “Hello” on it.

Hello Tumbler

The back has the Walt Disney World logo in silver. You can get it now for $22.99.

Hello Tumbler

Take your water AND Mickey with you wherever you go with this Mickey Mouse Water Bottle that features Mickey in sunset colors with palm trees — so VERY Florida! This water bottle is $34.99.

This Mickey Balloons Tumbler is covered in colorful Mickey balloons with one on top!

The back has the Walt Disney World logo on it. You can grab this tumbler for $22.99.

Mickey Balloon Tumbler

It’s usually the “Best Day Ever” when you’re at Disney World, and now there’s a Water Bottle that says just that! This red bottle is $34.99. We’ve seen this Best Day Ever design on several other bottles and tumblers, but now it’s available in red! We love the little Mickey ears as punctuation.

Best Day Ever Water Bottle

We previously spotted some of this drinkware at Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort, but we found these on the East Coast at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom! And if we spot any other cool merchandise, we’ll be sure to let you know!

Wait Times in Disney World Significantly DROPPED This Week!

The wait times have continued to drop and drop since the holiday season ended.

Tree of Life Carvings

And this week, almost every single average wait time went DOWN. It may be the end of January, but these wait times seem so low! Today, we’re going to take a look at the average wait times in ALL four parks!

Magic Kingdom

Despite having decreased by 9 minutes since last week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest wait in Magic Kingdom and in all of Disney World with 48 minutes. It’s surprising anytime we see this average under an hour, let alone 48 minutes!

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Other thrill rides in Magic Kingdom had pretty low waits. Space Mountain had an average wait time of 22 minutes, Splash Mountain averaging 31 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad averaged 33 minutes.

Thunder Mountain

Space Mountain was lower than several other attraction including “it’s a small world” at 25 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and Astro Orbiter at 27 minutes, Jungle Cruise at 28 minutes, and Pirates of the Caribbean at 30 minutes.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Other average waits in the same range include Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Peter Pan’s Flight at 21 minutes.

Peter Pan’s Flight

With waits in the teens, we saw The Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 11 minutes, Haunted Mansion and The Barnstormer at 12 minutes, Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid at 14 minutes, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 16 minutes, and Mickey’s PhilarMagic at 17 minutes.

Magic Carpets of Aladdin

Other attractions with seriously short wait times include , Tomorrowland Speedway at 10 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 3 minutes, and Carousel of Progress at 6 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 9 minutes, and Mad Tea Party at 8 minutes.

Country Bear Jamboree

Just like the previous weeks, there were a handful of attractions with zero minute wait times, including Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, Hall of Presidents, and Enchanted Tiki Room.

Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse View

The wait times in Magic Kingdom went down quite a bit! This is the time to be at Disney World if you like to be away from the crowds!

Here’s what’s new at Magic Kingdom

EPCOT

Last week, Test Track has the highest wait time in the park at 49 minutes, which is LOWER than this week’s highest time in all of Disney World! But, Test Track still has the longest wait in EPCOT this week at 40 minutes. This attraction also went down by 9 minutes!

Test Track

Other popular attractions didn’t have much of a wait like Soarin‘ with a 20-minute wait, Frozen After Ever with a 20-minute wait, and Mission: SPACE with a 17-minute wait.

Mission Space

The rest of EPCOT saw super short average wait times, including Spaceship Earth at 12 minutes, Journey Into Imagination with Figment and the Seas with Nemo & Friends at 8 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour at 7 minutes, and Living with the Land at 6 minutes.

Find the Hidden Figments at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts!

Just like last week, all of the films in EPCOT had a zero minute wait, which includes Disney and Pixar Short Film FestivalBeauty and the Beast Sing-AlongAwesome PlanetImpressions de France, and Reflections of China. American Adventure also had no wait!

Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival

These wait times have also significantly dropped this week! This could be due to lack of crowds and the Festival of the Arts. The festivals tend to draw crowds away from attractions and towards to festival booths and activities.

Some Gran Fiesta Tour Animatronics are Missing AGAIN

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

For the second week in a row, wait times have broke the norm that the longest wait time in Disney World belongs to an attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The longest wait time in this park, however, is Slinky Dog Dash at 45 minutes. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror stayed fairly close behind at 41 minutes.

Tower of Terror

Other longer average  wait times include the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 33 minutes.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

In the 20s range, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at a low 24 minutes, Star Tours averaged 23 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 22 minutes, and Toy Story Mania and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 20 minutes.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Alien Swirling Saucers saw an average wait time of 18 minutes making it the lowest wait time in the park. Keep in mind that Rise of the Resistance is not included in these numbers due to its virtual queue.

Check out what’s new in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Both attractions in Pandora — the Land of Avatar continued to have fairly short wait times compared to usual! Flight of Passage averaged 29 minutes (which means it went down 10 minutes this week), and Na’vi River Journey averaged 38 minutes, making it the longest wait time in the park.

Pandora

All average wait times were pretty low throughout the park. Dinosaur averaged 18 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris had an average wait time of 12 minutes, and It’s Tough to Be a Bug and Expedition Everest averaged 13 minutes.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park

Triceratop Spin had the shortest wait time in the park of 5 minutes. Kali River Rapids is currently under refurbishment.

Triceratop Spin

This week’s average wait times have stayed very low! Now that holiday crowds have been gone for many weeks, the wait times have tanked. We hope this look at average wait times helps those of you prepping for a Disney trip soon! Stay tuned to DFB, and check for our weekly wait times next week!
