Does Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Merchandise Mean the Ride Will Open Soon?
We’re eagerly awaiting the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and every little step gets us closer. From the opening of some new sections of the France Pavilion we can now add new merchandise on the teasers of what’s to come. These items are found in the gift shop just outside Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie.
We’ve got an unofficial office pool about when this attraction will finally open. Do you have any guesses? In the meantime, what do you think of the merchandise for this as-yet-unopened attraction?

NEWS: CDC to Require Face Masks on Cruises and Other Transportation
It’s been a while since guests have been able to experience a Disney Cruise as Disney continues to cancel sailings.
But in the meantime, the global pandemic continues to not only delay the return of cruises, but it’s changing the way we’ll cruise when they do return. In its latest update, the CDC announced that face masks will be required on all cruise ships.
Lately though, Disney — and other cruise ships — has continued to cancel its sailings and restrict the length of its voyages.
The latest order from the CDC, which goes into effect February 1st, requires people to wear face masks while on public transportation in the U.S., and while at transportation hubs.
In CDC terms, the first section of the order says “Persons must wear masks over the mouth and nose when traveling on conveyances into and within the United States. Persons must also wear masks at transportation hubs as defined in this Order.” This includes a wide array of transportation, like busses, trains, vessels, and other conveyances used for travel.
We’ll keep an eye out for more information about Disney Cruise Line and orders from the CDC.

TONS of New Entrees for This Week’s Disney World Menu Updates!
Hello, DFB Friends!
We’ve been busy trying a few new snacks at Disney World, including a peanut butter cannoli, Irish coffee, and morning cocktails! But it’s also been a pretty quiet week around the parks, and we only have a few restaurant menu updates for you from this past week! So let’s get to it!
Resorts
The Mara
Back in December, The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom reopened, but only temporarily. Although it was supposed to close again in early January, it’s still open for breakfast. So yay! And two new canned morning cocktails have just been added to its menu:
- Blue Marble Bloody Mary 200 ml Can – Ultra-premium Vodka, All-natural Tomato Juice, and a dash of Spice for $10
- Blue Marble Mojito 200 ml Can – Ultra-premium Rum, all-natural Lime Juice, and all-natural Mint for $10
Although we’re not sure how long The Mara will remain open for breakfast, it’s good to have that option over at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
