The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed since late 2018. The extended closure is due to TRON: Lightcycle / Run construction. The railroad tracks were rerouted. Additional new track is being installed near the Fantasyland Station. The Fantasyland Station has been silent for over two years. New rails are stacked atop railroad ties along the platform.
