While many of the food booths for Festival of the Arts are returning, there is a BRAND NEW booth this year!
Vibrante & Vívido is new to EPCOT this year, so we can’t wait to try some new festival eats, especially since there are so many returning booths and menu items. So let’s dive in to the food from this exciting booth!
Vibrante & Vívido offers fresh and bright flavors at this colorful festival including sweet and savory dishes. On the menu, you can find passion fruit mousse, chilled seafood cocktails, and fruit smoothies!
This new booth is inspired by Disney artist Mary Blair, who is responsible for the artwork on “it’s a small world” and many other projects! She’s known for bright colors, and the food totally reflects that!
Since this booth is brand new, so of course we had to try everything on the menu!
This colorful spread of food and drink is so pleasing to the eye! So let’s see what we thought of the taste.
Food at Vibrante & Vivido
We started at the top with the Chilled Seafood Cocktail with Octopus, Scallops, Shrimp, Black Garlic Aïoli, Tomato-Coconut Sauce, and Serrano-Lime Oil. This was hard to eat for us because seafood is not our favorite, however if you like chilled seafood and are an adventurous eater, you’ll probably enjoy this one!
The colors of this plate are gorgeous, though, and remind us of Mary Blair! The seafood itself is an acquired taste, but we found it to be super salty. The sauce and aioli, however, were delicious and we really think die-hard seafood fans will love it. That being said, if you aren’t into seafood, you’ll want to steer clear of this one. This seafood spread costs $8.50.
Another completely new dish to the festival is the Blue Corn Pupusa stuffed with Cheese and topped with Shredded Pork, Guajillo, and Árbol Chile Sauce, Cabbage Slaw, and Aji Amarillo. For $6.50, we thought this dish was totally worth it. Even though it’s a little small, these colorful flavors packed a punch. The sauce had a kick to it which we really enjoyed!
There was plenty of pork on top and the slaw was nice and crunchy. Of the two savory dishes, this one was the winner for us!
Not only can you find savory dishes here, but there is fruity dessert on the menu as well! The Passion Fruit Mousse comes with Dragon Fruit Jam for $4.75. We absolutely adored this treat! We originally weren’t huge fans of passion fruit, but this dish blew us away.
Overall, it is very tart and refreshing, and we love that the dragon fruit jam is in the middle! There’s a thin cookie on the bottom which added a nice crunch to each bite.
We did not expect to be this blown away, but this was amazing!
Drinks at Vibrante & Vivido
Vibrante & Vívido also offers 3 drinks on its menu! It’s clear that this is the booth for passion fruit lovers because you can grab the Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie, which is non-alcoholic, for $4.50. The flavors are great, but the best part is the cute cup! The smoothie itself was refreshing , but we didn’t taste much coconut. We also think this flavor combination is an interesting one, but it’s a good smoothie if you’re in the mood for one.
If you’re looking for a boozy and fruity drink, we also tried the Passion Fruit Daiquiri for $14! If you like to drink alcohol, but don’t want to taste it, this is the drink for you! As we said before, we aren’t huge fans of passion fruit, but this was pretty good. We’d probably pick a different booth for a slushy drink, but this isn’t bad at all.
For guests who want a more classic alcoholic drink flavor, you can snag the refreshing Frozen Piña Colada for $13! This drink was amazing! Piña colada fans will totally enjoy this one, because it had that classic flavor combo, but tasted really fresh.
We could tell this didn’t come from a can, and it was delicious!
Overall
We think this is a booth for adventurous eaters, and those who love Instagrammable food! If you are or you have a picky eater with you, there are other booths that will likely suit your family or group better. That being said, the Passion Fruit Mousse totally surprised us!
To find this booth, head to World Showcase where it sits in between the Morocco pavilion and the France pavilion. We’ll be making our way around the festival today, so stay tuned for reviews of other booths and see what makes our Best of the Fest!
