Review: There’s Been a Pineapple EXPLOSION at Disney Springs (And We’re SO Here For It)

Just a few days ago, it was winter in Florida with cooler temperatures, holiday decorations, and all kinds of festive snacks.

Pineapple Treats

But, in true Florida fashion, December has ended which means we’re hopping straight from winter to…SUMMER?! That’s right! Move over winter flavors, we’re ready to sit on a beach with pineapple-flavored treats in hand. It may not actually be summer and we may not actually be on the beach somewhere, but that’s exactly where these NEW snacks are taking us in our minds.

If you’re looking for a taste of all things tropical, head over to Disney’s Candy Cauldron in Disney Springs. That’s where we found a whole bunch of treats that had us feeling like we were on a summer vacation, including Pineapple Fudge, a Pineapple Mickey-Shaped Cookie, a Pineapple Cupcake, and more!

There’s no denying these treats are adorable…but how do they taste?

The Pineapple Cookie had an adorable Mickey shape with a cute pineapple design on it made through the icing. In terms of flavor, it’s a traditional sugar cookie with what we’d call a “whisper” of pineapple flavor (a.k.a. a verrrry light pineapple taste, but still there enough to notice).

Pineapple Cookie

Even if you aren’t a big pineapple fan, this cookie may still be a good choice for you since that pineapple flavor was very light. The cookie is priced at $5.49.

The Pineapple Cupcake was light and lovely. Like the cookie, it had a very light pineapple flavor, but the icing was traditional and not flavored to our tropical treat.

Pineapple Cupcake

There’s so much icing on this treat that it hides the pineapple flavor even more, so it’s worth a try even if you’re not a big pineapple fan. You can try this snack for yourself for $5.19.

If you’re looking for a STRONG punch of pineapple flavor, the Pineapple Cream Fudge is the treat you’ll want to get! We could really taste the pineapple here and it had us reaching for our bathing suits and sunglasses.

Pineapple Fudge

The treat was creamy and fantastic!! You can get this treat for $4.39.

Pineapple Fudge

We really liked all three of these treats and thought they were fantastic! For the strongest punch of pineapple flavor, definitely go for the fudge. But, if you’re looking for something lighter, try the cookie or cupcake!

Pair one of these (or all of them) with a Pineapple Dole Whip from Marketplace Snacks or a GIANT Dole Whip IN a Pineapple from the Poly and you’ll be well on your way to creating your very own paradise, no beach or cruise needed.

We’ll definitely be on the lookout for more delicious treats all over Disney World so be sure to stay tuned for more updates!
