Guests looking to hit the links on vacation can visit any of the several golf courses in Disney World. And now, a new technology makes things even easier for golfers, so they can save their energy for park hopping!
Navigating an 18-hole golf course while carrying or pushing your clubs can take a toll even on the most physically fit golfers. But now, Disney Golf has introduced a new technology to make navigating the course easier. Meet the Robo-Cart!

The Robo-Cart is a small robotic golf cart that uses GPS and Bluetooth technology to transport your clubs safely around the course. To operate the cart, golfers just need to clip on a small transmitter and load their golf bag into the cart. The autonomous cart will then follow a few paces behind wherever they go!

While Disney Golf cautions guests to be careful while walking across narrow bridges or near lakes, they report that the GPS technology in the Robo-Carts is highly accurate, and they haven’t had any incidents so far.
The Robo-Carts are equipped with amenities including a beverage cooler, cup holder, sand bottle, and a USB port so golfers can charge their phone while they play. The front of the cart has a color GPS screen that provides all of the standard yardage information typically available on full-size riding golf carts.
