We Ate BEER Marshmallows in Disney World and We Have Some THOUGHTS

Last year, the Wondermade Marshmallows kiosk opened in Disney Springs, near T-Rex Restaurant.

Wondermade Marshmallows

The kiosk serves up a TON of Wondermade’s unique marshmallow flavors, including Key Lime Pie, Bourbon, and more! So, today we grabbed a whole bunch of fluffy marshmallow creations and gave them a taste, including some BEER(!) Marshmallows. And we’re bringing you ALL our thoughts!

Ever wondered what Salted Honey Marshmallows taste like? Or how about Cookies & Cream or Mint Chocolate Chip? Well, Wondermade is here to make ALL your marshmallow dreams come true!

Wondermade Marshmallows

When we visited the kiosk today in Disney Springs, we found a whole bunch of different flavors including some more limited Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cream and Chocolate Covered Peppermint Marshmallows.

Wondermade Marshmallows

Each of the standard marshmallow boxes, with 16 marshmallows each, are $10. But, when we visited the kiosk today, they were offering a sale where you could buy 3 boxes and get 1 free.

So, we got 4 different flavors today and sat down for a feast of sugary goodness. Before we dive into our review, we did want to give you an idea of what these treats look like when you first open them up. Each of their standard boxes does come with 16 marshmallows and they are wrapped up in plastic.

Churro Marshmallows

Overall, we felt like none of the flavors we tried were TOO sweet. So, a word of caution. We think you could EASILY eat half of a box of these in one sitting. Or, like us, you could get 4 boxes and just go bananas!

Okay, now it’s time to rip open that plastic and dive in.

First up, Birthday Cake Marshmallows! This treat is made of vanilla marshmallows covered with sprinkles. While they look spectacular, the marshmallows themselves were good, but nothing too special. They didn’t “WOW” us with any stand-out flavor.

If you don’t know what flavor to choose, though this is a safe bet. It’s a solid, good-tasting marshmallow.

And we think this is one kids would totally enjoy.

Next up, Stout Beer Marshmallows! This treat is made beer and rolled in crushed pretzels. Do marshmallows and beer go together? Apparently, the answer to that is absolutely YES! We thought these Stout Beer Marshmallows were REALLY GOOD!

The marshmallows had almost a caramel taste to them, and the crushed pretzels on top added a great change in texture.

Our reporter said that if they had to pick a favorite out of the bunch they tried today, it’d probably be these beer marshmallows!! So, if you’re looking for something unique to try from Wondermade, we’d highly recommend these.

Next up, the Fireball Marshmallows. Now, when someone says Fireball, we’re expecting a strong kick in flavor. But, what we got was a bit more of a whisper. At least to us, these marshmallows were really lacking on that spice department.

There was just a hint of cinnamon in them, and that hint was very faint. It was almost like a VERY mild version of Big Red gum.

If you don’t like a strong cinnamon flavor though, then these might be good for you.

And finally, we reach our last flavor of the day — Churro. We’ve got to give it to Wondermade on the smell here. They truly nailed that delicious, smell of churros.

Churro Marshmallows

But, overall, these marshmallows were actually our least favorite. They were extremely dusty from the powdered sugar. The powdered sugar can easily get all over your hands while eating these, so they’re actually pretty authentic to a real churro in that regard. If you are going to get them, be sure to grab a lot of napkins!

But, in terms of overall taste and experience, our reporter said they’d pick the Stout Beer over these.

We only sampled 4 of Wondermade’s MANY flavors today, and we have to say it was a cool experience seeing what each these unique treats brought to the table in terms of cool flavors. The next time you’re in Disney Springs, you can stop by Wondermade to try a few for yourself. If you do, be sure to tell us which one you like the best!
