For a Tuesday, today is pretty busy. Other than EPCOT, each park’s average posted wait times were toward the middle of the past 30 days. Disney’s Hollywood Studios in particular reached number 4 of the past 30 days for average posted wait times, mostly due to Rise of the Resistance having some bumps. Most of the posted wait times were pretty accurate compared to the actual wait times, aside from EPCOT. At Magic Kingdom today our team observed 477 out of 500 (96%) guests wearing their masks in accordance with Disney’s guidelines. We’re used to this figure being in the 98% range. Hopefully this is not a new trend. You can count on us to do the counting. Let’s do the numbers.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Wait Times

Rise of the Resistance must have a bad motivator today. Boarding groups have been choppy all day, especially in the morning. The attraction is well behind pace of the past 7 days. When things are rough at Rise of the Resistance a ripple effect is felt throughout the park and wait times at all other major attractions increase.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Phil Collins had an average wait time today of 33 minutes. Its 7-day average is 31 minutes, so today ranks #2 for this week. Its 30-day average is 32 minutes, so today ranks #11 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 48 minutes, so today ranks #178 for the past year.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror had an average wait time today of 52 minutes. Its 7-day average is 53 minutes, so today ranks #2 for this week. Its 30-day average is 50 minutes, so today ranks #9 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 52 minutes, so today ranks #89 for the past year.
