How to Pack For Your Disney World Vacation Next Week!

It’s time for our weekly weather update!

EPCOT

If you’re getting set to spend a nice Valentine’s and Presidents’ Day week in Disney World then you’re probably about to get packing. We’re here to help! We want you feeling prepped and ready for whatever a Florida winter will throw at you. Let’s take a look at the forecast!

Weather Forecast

According to The Weather Channel, this week is going to look pretty similar to the way last week did. We’ve been seeing some warm, windy, and rainy days. Hmm…at least we’re getting some consistency! Take a look!

February 15th

Monday, February 15th will start the week with pretty WARM temperatures. That day is going to max out at an 84-degree high and we’ll see 70 degrees at night. Wow! It’s crazy to think it was in the 40s a few weeks ago.

You probably won’t need your winter coat but you WILL need a rain jacket! We’ll see storms and showers this day.

February 16th

The next day, February 16th, brings us slightly cooler temps hitting 76 degrees during the day and dropping that low down to 64 degrees.

We’ll see a mix of clouds, sun, and storms this day so definitely have that poncho or raincoat ready in your park bag.

February 17th

On Wednesday, February 17th, we’re going to see temps jump back up a little bit. You’re low is gonna roll back up to warm too!

This day will be primarily cloudy with, yep, MORE of those intermittent thunderstorms. This is yet another day you’ll want to stay dry with an extra layer!

February 18th

For Thursday, February 18th, we’re seeing the warmest day of the week in the mid-80s and a pretty big drop in the evening to the high 50s.

Finally! A day that might be mostly dry! Still, you might see rain in the evening. Keep in mind, a rainy 58 degrees might feel a lot colder than you think it will.

February 19th

The week continues with a BIG drop in temperatures and that familiar chance of rain on February 19th.

There are showers in the forecast in the morning but it will hopefully dry off and let some sunshine in.

February 20th

Saturday, February 20th brings us about the same temperatures in the day and night. And, could it be true? This is FINALLY a rainless day! Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Here, we’re looking at a 65-degree high and a 45-degree low.

February 21st

And we’ll wrap up our week on February 21st another (thankfully!) dry day and a 73-degree high and a 52-degree low.

This looks like it’s going to be an especially pretty weekend, especially after a week full of rain.

Tips for Weathering the Weather!

If you are taking a trip over to Disney World next week, we’ve got a few tips on how to pack and plan for the weather so you stay comfy AND dry.

Get ready for rain!

This is another week with lots of storms and showers in the forecast so you could find yourself wishing you were drier. Bring a rain jacket, poncho, or umbrella and make sure it’s packed in your park bag (even on a sunny morning). It can be pricy to gear up in Disney stores!

Minnie Poncho

Plus, storms tend to come in the afternoon and Disney may close some outdoor attractions if there’s lightning. If you’ve got a must ride with outdoor portions you’ll want to ride earlier in the day. Just another reason to keep an extra close eye on that forecast!

You heard it here, folks, LAYERING!

Don’t let those warmer temperatures fool you! It’s still a good idea to make sure you’ve got layers for those cooler nights. Sure, we might see some days where it’s cozy in the 70s at its coldest, but that’s not the case all week!

Blue Castle Beanie

Later in the week, you’re looking at cooler days and lows in the 40s! That won’t be too comfy if you’ve forgotten to snag a jacket, scarf, or hat.
