Today’s posted wait times were at or near their highest levels for the past month at all four Disney World theme parks. The Magic Kingdom’s average posted wait was the highest it’s been in the past 30 days, while Animal Kingdom’s and EPCOT’s were fourth-highest over the past month.
We’ve got 109 actual wait times in line from our fabulous Lines community. And we counted 485 of 500 guests (97%) in EPCOT today wearing masks according to Disney’s guidelines. Let’s do the rest of the numbers!
Magic Kingdom Wait Times
Pirates of the Caribbean had an average wait time today of 65 minutes. Its 7-day average is 64 minutes, so today ranks #3 for this week. Its 30-day average is 45 minutes, so today ranks #3 for the past month. We received 5 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 73% of the posted wait time.
Animal Kingdom Wait Times
Kilimanjaro Safaris had an average wait time today of 45 minutes. Its 7-day average is 36 minutes, so today ranks #1 for this week. Its 30-day average is 21 minutes, so today ranks #1 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 27 minutes, so today ranks #27 for the past year. We received 6 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 61% of the posted wait time.
Hollywood Studios Wait Times
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Wiggles had an average wait time today of 43 minutes. Its 7-day average is 51 minutes, so today ranks #6 for this week. Its 30-day average is 36 minutes, so today ranks #9 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 45 minutes, so today ranks #133 for the past year.
Rise of the Resistance has had a decent day – not great, not terrible. Rise started calling boarding groups around 8:50 a.m. today, and ran steadily for about an hour before encountering its first delay. It looks like Rise only called one boarding group – Group 24 – between 9:40 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. But once Rise of the Resistance got going again, it ran smoothly and near its best pace for the past week.
Rise of the Resistance had a second delay in calling boarding groups, this time around 3:40 p.m. That delay lasted about 35 minutes, until 4:15 p.m. At its current rate, Rise should call its last boarding groups today around 6:30 p.m.
EPCOT Wait Times
Soarin’ had an average wait time today of 53 minutes. Its 7-day average is 58 minutes, so today ranks #4 for this week. Its 30-day average is 30 minutes, so today ranks #4 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 33 minutes, so today ranks #32 for the past year.
