MARDI GRAS 2021
Mardi Gras is making its way back to Universal Studios Orlando, yet again! From February 6th to March 28th you can experience an international festival with breathtaking entertainment and cuisine inspired by international Carnaval celebrations. You can get the chance to taste flavors from Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Germany, Spain, and of course New Orleans! Throughout your Mardi Gras experience here in Orlando you can enjoy amazing floats, street entertainment, and music.
TASTING LANYARD
If you’re looking for an affordable way to enjoy amazing foods at Mardi Gras 2021, then look no further. Take your tastebuds on a journey with international food and drink samples during your Mardi Gras experience. Enjoy sampling 10 exquisite food items for $55 + tax, this includes all 13 countries. Passholders can purchase an exclusive lanyard that includes 15 items for $65 + tax. The Tasting Lanyard was announced as a Passholder Exclusive but any guest is able to purchase this lanyard, but the Annual Passholders get a better deal. The Tasting Lanyard can be used for all food and beverage items sold in the designated food locations. You can find these available for purchase at all tasting locations throughout the park, don’t miss the chance to enjoy food the affordable way!
UNFORGETTABLE ENTERTAINMENT
Florida’s Biggest Party, Mardi Gras at Orlando’s very own Universal Studios. From the months of February to March you can experience the breathtaking sights and sounds of Bourbon Street making their way from New Orleans to the streets of Universal Studios Orlando. With surprises all around the park, you can gather your family to enjoy street entertainment, music, and catch beads by the handful. Enjoy colorful parades as they wind their way throughout the park with spectacular floats, such as a fleet of Pirate Treasure themed floats with a collection of Universal’s classic Mardi Gras Floats. Along with all the dazzling floats and stilt walkers, you can join the excitement at the Music Plaza Stage for an outdoor environment to take pictures with one of the three floats around the stage! You can even get yourself a table, relax and enjoy tasty foods as you witness all the excitement happen. Good times and great memories like no other, Mardi Gras at Universal Studios Orlando is fun and exciting for all ages.
AMAZING FOOD
This year at Mardi Gras, Universal Studios brought together the amazing flavors of some of the most authentic Cajun-style cuisine from New Orleans. The return of some fan favorite dishes including the Crawfish Boil to the Jambalaya and Beignets. Guests can also enjoy spectacular flavors from Puerto Rico including, Pernil & Mofongo, Picadillo Empanadas, Quesitos, and Piña Verde. Traveling over to the German side of things, you can taste unique flavors such as Pork Schnitzel Sliders, Bavarian Pretzel, Vegan Bratwurst and Beer Braised Onions, as well as tasting a drink of Weihenstephaner Kristalweissbier. Last but not least, surprise your taste buds with Pholourie, Pineapple Trini-Chow, Queen’s Park Swizzle and Carib Lager, all from Trinidad and Tobago.
