More Low Crowds – Disney World Wait Times for Monday, February 1, 2021

Low crowds and cold temperatures today kick off the month of February, with all four Walt Disney World parks’ posted wait times near the bottom of what we’ve seen over the past month.  EPCOT, for example, had an average posted wait time of 11 minutes.  Eleven!

We got 157 actual wait times today from our fabulous Lines community, and we counted 3 of 170 guests (we normally count 500 – there were that few people in World Showcase this evening) (98%) wearing masks in EPCOT according to Disney’s guidelines.  Let’s do the rest of the numbers!

Magic Kingdom Wait Times

Pirates of the Caribbean had an average wait time today of 33 minutes. Its 7-day average is 38 minutes, so today ranks #5 for this week. Its 30-day average is 42 minutes, so today ranks #24 for the past month. We received 4 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 70% of the posted wait time.

Rise of the Resistance has had an excellent day of operations so far.  Rise started calling boarding groups around 8:45 a.m., and has run continuously since then, with no discernible pauses in operations.  As I write this, Rise of the Resistance is approaching 140 boarding groups called, and should make it above 160 before the day ends.
