Our Day in Magic Kingdom: Broken Glass and a Cherry Float Upgrade

Welcome back to Magic Kingdom!

Cinderella Castle

We took a quick trip around the park so we could let YOU know what’s new with the food, merchandise, and more. Let’s take a look!

Magic Kingdom Food Updates

Storybook Treats

A menu board appeared at Storybook Treats advertising one of our not-so-favorite snacks! The Cherry Soft-Serve was NOT a hit when we first tried it, but we decided to give it a second chance…with some modifications. So we asked the Cast Member to add some Diet Coke and created our very own Cherry Coke Float!

Our very own creation!

Okay, so this float still isn’t the BEST thing we’ve eaten, but the coke did even out the cherry medicine from the soft-serve. If you want to give it a try, you can order the  float for $5.49 or a cup of the soft-serve for $4.99!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Emporium

In the Emporium, we found some Beauty and the Beast-inspired wall decor. It looks like stained glass art of Belle and her Prince (who is NOT in Beast form), dancing in front of the Enchanted Rose.

Tale as old as time…

There’s a gold chain so you can hang this piece on your wall!

Perfect for hanging!

This decoration is $49.99.

Magic Kingdom Additional Updates

While we were chillin’ on Main Street, U.S.A. eating a Rice Krispie treat (as one does), we spotted something unusual: there was a broken window above the exit door for Main Street Bakery!

Roy E. Disney and Family Windows

The window in question was right next to the Roy E. Disney window. A Cast Member blocked off the area

…while another was upstairs inspecting the damage.

Why is this window broken?

Good news: the glass has since been fixed! We’re not sure why this window broke in the first place, but at least it’s been repaired.

That’s all for our quick visit to Magic Kingdom! As always, we’ll keep you posted with the latest Disney updates, so stay tuned to DFB.
