Dining Reminder: Reservations for the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine Character Breakfast Are NOW OPEN

Good morning, friends! We’re coming at you bright and early with a reminder that Advance Dining Reservations are now open for a returning Character Breakfast at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Disney Junior Play n’ Dine Breakfast

You and your crew can start the day at the Disney Junior Play n’ Dine Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine Restaurant once again starting March 22nd! Of course, the experience will be different from the previous buffet meal served at this location, so let’s go over the updated offerings!

Again, Hollywood & Vine previously served up a buffet breakfast. However, guests will now order from an a la carte menu.

Groups will start with a shared pastry basket (including caramel monkey bread and mini muffins), then each guest will select their own entrée from items like All-you-care-to-enjoy pancakes, French toast stuffed with chocolate-hazelnut spread, a Toasted open-faced salmon bagel, a Four-egg scramble, a Four-egg cheese omelet, or a Plant-based egg frittata. The price is $42 per adult, plus tax and gratuity and $27 per child (ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity,

And, as we’ve experienced with other Character Meals currently available around Disney World — the character experience will be modified.

Fancy Nancy

Disney Junior stars like Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and Roadster Goofy will be greeting guests from a safe distance, and you can read up on how that works from our experiences so far at spots like Chef Mickey’s, Topolino’s Terrace, and EPCOT’s Garden Grill.

Goofy

And don’t forget! Guests can already enjoy a modified Character Meal at Hollywood & Vine for lunch and dinner, where Minnie’s Seasonal Dine is going strong!

The window to make Advance Dining Reservations for Disney World table service restaurants is 60 days out. And as a reminder, this experience reopens on March 22.  So, open your My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website or call (407) WDW-DINE to line up your next Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine Breakfast!

What We’re Talking About: Florida’s Theme Park Industry, Loki, Luca, and More

With this week’s edition of What We’re Talking About, Dani shares what she thinks about the fact that Florida is doing better than other states in relation to the theme park and attractions industry, Ivonne shares what’s the next Marvel project she’s looking forward to and why, Joe discusses Pixar’s newest film, and Julia shares her thoughts about a Magic Kingdom Universe series.

What We’re Talking About – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

Though the theme park and attractions industry is still feeling the impacts of the ongoing coronavirus, a new study shows that Florida is doing comparatively better than most other states, according to the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.

Dani says: I think we all know the road to recovery is going to be a very long one, and a return to normalcy is a long way off. But things are looking hopeful, and I will gladly cling onto that.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors went on record this past Tuesday in support of a bill that seeks to let theme parks reopen earlier than California Governor Gavin Newsom has allowed. Will it happen? Guess we’ll have to wait to find out.

Did you see the preview for the upcoming Pixar film, Luca? The story certainly looks intriguing, as all Pixar films do. I’m curious to see where they end up going with this one overall.

Joe thinks that: This seems like a large departure for Pixar in style and animation. The look, movement, and style gives me strong Studio Ghibli vibes. I cannot wait to see this.

With Hollywood upended by the coronavirus, Disney —like other media companies — has prioritized its streaming ambitions. And it’s taking a page out of Netflix’s book to meet its long-term goals. Learn how they are doing so, according to Business Insider.

Following WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki will be the next series from Marvel for Disney+. Loki will shift from big screen to small and will follow the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow and takes places after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Who else is excited?

One person who is excited…Dani. She states I do not have the adequate words to express how excited I am for this series!

Ivonne also says: I’m excited for this but mostly because I miss Owen Wilson and can’t wait to hear him say “WOW” in something new.

A few other shows had their premiere dates announced too. They include Big Shot which will premiere April 16; Star Wars: The Bad Batch will launch May 4; High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 2 will begin on May 14; Zenimation Season 2 will premiere June 11; The Mysterious Benedict Society will debut June 25; Monsters at Work will begin July 2; Turner & Hooch will launch July 16, and Chip ‘N’ Dale: Park Live will premiere July 23.

Disney is ready to bring the characters from its theme parks and classic films to life in a new way. Disney+ is set to develop a Magic Kingdom Universe series and I have never been down for something more in my life. The series is slated to surround The Society of Explorers and Adventurers, which is set in a world where all the themed lands and characters of the Disney parks and classic films actually exist in another reality. So, imagine a show that puts together Henry Mystic,  Dr. Albert Falls, and Pamelia Perkins together. Well, that’s my dream cast, but I’m sure it won’t be that theme park nerdy….but I’d be here for it if they do go that route!

Julia states: Fandoms are such tricky things. I personally think this could be fantastic, but expect that it will generate lots of angst among the most rabid Disney fanbase if not done “to their level of satisfaction.”

What Are You Talking About?

Located in St. Cloud, FL you can get the chance to get up close and personal with over 100 exotic animals. To get your very own private tour it’s only $40 per person with a minimum of only 2 people per tour. Your tour is private and your experience can be different from other peoples, so be sure to get all of the photos you can! WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR TOUR

Like we said before, every experience is different and you could have different encounters with each animal from other people. Brian and Kylie at Amazing Animals Inc took us on our private tour around the sanctuary. We started off the tour by taking a look at all of the reptiles. We got to hold a newborn baby alligator and hold a Burmese Python named Glades. Once we finished up with the reptiles we went to get up close and personal with a Southern Fox Squirrel as well as skunks. We swung past a cage of beautiful Owls and even got to hold an Armadillo. Speaking of swinging we got to meet a Black Tufted Marmoset named Bingo, he was very playful and he even play’s a few tricks on you. After seeing some of the Nocturnal animals and meeting a few cats we moved on to play with the Capybaras. We got to baby Capybaras along with their parents. They loved the fact that we rubbed their stomach and fed them! Next we went to meet the goats, donkeys, and we even got to feed a pig, he enjoyed his food. We finished off our private tour by meeting some beautiful Marble Foxes and some enormous tortoises. Last but not least, we got to meet a couple sloths and snap a few awesome slothies. To see our experience at Amazing Animals Inc, be sure to check out our video above!

HOW TO SUPPORT AMAZING ANIMALS

Brian and Kylie from Amazing Animals Inc help share knowledge and passion for the animals they have brought to their sanctuary to love and care for. They educate throughout the community in schools, nursing homes, daycare’s and at birthday parties to help spread conversation messages and raise money to care for their animals. They help by preserving these wild animals in the necessary exhibits they need. We love what Brian and Kylie are doing so much we have decided to sponsor the Capybara habit. If you would like to have an opportunity to sponsor you can here https://www.amazinganimalsinc.org/sponsors.

What Does the Latest Job Listing Mean for EPCOT’s Upcoming Space Restaurant?

It seems like Disney is looking to hire more people across the board today!

Space 220 Restaraunt Art Print

This morning we saw listings for jobs at Disney World’s upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and later we found that Disney Cruise Line is hiring for several positions. Now, we’ve got news from a restaurant we haven’t heard from in quite a while… .

EPCOT’s upcoming Space 220 restaurant has been on quite the rollercoaster! After an original opening timeline for late 2019, it was pushed back to 2020, and we still have yet to hear an actual opening date. In late 2019, the restaurant lost its executive chef, but after that we’ve seen several job listings for a Front of House Manager, a Restaurant Manager, and Bartender.

Currently the Patina Restaurant Group, who runs Space 220, Via Napoli, and more, is looking for an Executive Pastry Chef! The job listing is on the Patina Restaurant Group website, and lists the responsibilities and qualifications they are looking for for that specific position. We know about this listing thanks to our friend @schreiberjoe on Instagram.

Patina Restaurant Group Job Listing

Like we said, Space 220 has been looking for employees several of times before, but it has been quite some time since we’ve seen a listing. This doesn’t mean anything at the moment for a grand opening, but it means that the restaurant is still progressing towards an opening date by hiring more people. The listing does say that “in this role, you will contribute to the launch and continued success of Space 220 Restaurant.”

Mission: SPACE and Upcoming Space 220

Hopefully someday soon we will FINALLY get an opening date! We’ll keep you updated on the latest job listings in Disney World, and any news regarding Space 220!

Will Space 220 Ever Open? Here Are All the Details We Have…
