PHOTO: A New Orange Bird Souvenir Cup Is Coming to EPCOT…FINALLY

We’re SO excited for the start of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival next month!

Flower and Garden Festival

We got lots of Flower and Garden news this morning which is giving us total springtime feels. Did you catch that all the booth menus were announced? AND the Garden Graze Food Tour is returning? Well, there’s one little piece of news that’s a VERY BIG DEAL too — and it has to do with our friend the Orange Bird.

At this point, the current Orange Bird Sipper and its festival booth home, The Citrus Blossom, have been around pretty consistently for a full year. In fact, this sipper was first introduced WAY back in 2019. Last year, he returned to Flower and Garden (with the booth) and just sort of…stuck around.

Orange Bird Sipper

You might remember them returning to EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, then to EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and then to EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Well, The Citrus Blossom is certainly back again, but we are FINALLY saying goodbye to last year’s Orange Bird Sipper.

The Citrus Blossom

Why? Because there’s a NEW Orange Bird Sipper in town and he just might be (Dare we say it?) CUTER than the last! This year, the little buddy features citrus right next to him and a very cute pose. Plus, he comes with the NEW Orange-Lemon Smoothie.

We’re super excited to see the new sipper in person and to try out the smoothie that comes with him. Stay tuned to DFB in the next few weeks as we cover ALL of that Flower and Garden news!

PHOTOS: First Set of Flag Poles Installed at EPCOT Entrance

Work continues on the entrance of EPCOT as the first set of flags have been installed in front of Spaceship Earth. A second set will eventually flank the right side as well. According to the concept art, the poles will hold flags with the EPCOT logo, but concept art isn’t always accurate. As you can see, the art doesn’t even show the correct location of the flags. As always, plans change.
