PHOTOS: We Found Hidden Pascals in an Unexpected Store in Disney World

We HAVE to show you what we found in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today.

Oscar’s

We were walking up and down Hollywood Blvd, checking out what’s new and exploring some merchandise, when we popped into Oscar’s. And you’ll never guess what we spotted!

Take a peek. It looks like a normal day in Oscar’s, right? We’ve got bubble wands, ears, backpacks…and wait!

Hey, Oscar’s!

Is that Pascal?!

Pascal!

Sure enough, we found some Pascal plushes hidden around the shop! Cast Members had placed one on the register and three on the top shelf.

So many Pascals!

This little guy looks like he’s enjoying the cool air from the fan!

Pascal on a fan

Spotting these plushes reminded us of the hidden Pascal scavenger hunt in Magic Kingdom! It certainly brightened our day seeing our little green friend in Oscar’s. As always, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!

VIDEO: Disney’s Avengers Campus Has a Special New Resident

Avengers: ASSEMBLE! If you’re a BIG Marvel fan, then you are definitely going to want to visit Avengers Campus when it opens this year at Disney California Adventure Park.

Avengers: Assemble! ©Disney

We’ve been keeping a close eye on all of the construction going on with this new area, checking out some hero-worthy merchandise, and we’ve even gotten a behind-the-scenes look at one of the area’s upcoming rides. But last night there was something NEW spotted in Avengers Campus and it has our spidey senses tingling.

Last year, we got the chance to check out the Spider-Bot — the new interactive remote control bot that’s been created specifically for Avengers Campus. The Spider-Bot toys can do a whole bunch of awesome things like do a 360 spin and battle other bots.

Would You Get One of These Spider-Bot Toys?

And in the Avengers Campus world, they play a big role. As part of the NEW WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure ride, you’ll get a presentation from Peter Parker about some of the new inventions from him and the rest of the WEB (Worldwide Engineering Brigade) Tech team, including their Spider-Bots. But when “Peter’s demonstration goes awry, the Spider-Bots are stuck in a replication loop, creating even more Spider-Bots!” It’ll be up to you to sling those webs and help Spider-Man beat those bots.

But, it looks like the Spider Bots won’t just be in toy form or inside the WEB Slingers ride. Last night, Discover the Magic spotted a Spider-Bot and some webs stuck to a light pole in Avengers Campus!

The Spider-Bot would cycle through trying to enter its self-destruct mode and then short out about every 5 minutes. You can see it in action in the video below!

We can’t wait to see what other little details like this appear throughout Avengers Campus.

Spider-Bot Out and About

We’re keeping a close eye on all of the construction going on and changes happening there, and we’ll definitely keep you updated as we learn more information about the land.

A LONG Line for an Unexpected Attraction and TONS of Pins Take Over Animal Kingdom

Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Pandora is just so breathtaking!

And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Merchandise Update

Riverside Depot

We’ve seen plenty of shoulder plushes around Disney World with characters like ForkyBaby YodaPorgs, and Figment serving as the best park-hopping pals! But, we may have just found the cutest one yet: there’s now an ORANGE BIRD Shoulder Plush too!

Orange Bird Shoulder Plush

He is super sweet with his green stem on top of his head and leaf wings to fly around Disney’s Animal Kingdom. And, he can tag along wherever you go in the park when you attach him to the magnet that slips underneath your shirt.

How he works!

He might not be online just yet like the other shoulder plushes for $19.99, but we’ll keep a lookout for him soon!

Take a look at all the details of the Orange Bird Shoulder Plush!

There were also a TON of new pins released on the shelves for guests to take home with them! We’ve got several Raya and the Last Dragon pins, including one featuring all the characters for $15.99

‘Raya and the Last Dragon’ Pin

…a Susi the dragon pin for $17.99

‘Raya and the Last Dragon’ Pin

…and a GIANT Raya and the Last Dragon pin for $59.99.

‘Raya and the Last Dragon’ Pin

There’s also some pins for classic movies like Dumbo for $19.99

‘Dumbo’ Pin

The Little Mermaid for $19.99

‘The Little Mermaid’ Pin

…and Beauty and the Beast for $19.99. Gaston’s lookin’ pretty buff as always there!

Gaston Pin

Lastly, we spotted a cool Windows of Main Street, U.S.A. pin!

Windows of Main Street, U.S.A. Pin

Open the pin and you’ll see Madame Leota inside! This pin is also $19.99. Plus, keep in mind that all the pins we just showed you are Limited Edition.

While we were at the Riverside Depot, we also noticed that there was a new Up Phone Case. We’ve already seen this “Wild and Free” design on other merchandise, but it’s the first time that we’ve seen it on a phone case!

Hey there, Kevin!

This case is $29.99.

Chester & Hester’s

If you can’t resist more accessories, Chester and Hester’s is carrying keychains that are perfect for your backpack or set of keys! There’s one shaped like a key, accented with Minnie Mouse’s ears, for $12.99.

Minnie KEYchain!

We also found a pretty useful keychain hangin’ around on the shelves. The Mickey Glove Keychain has a rubber tip and packs a lot of weight. We figured it could be used to open doors…

Mickey Glove Keychain

…type on a phone as a stylus

We give up — we’re confused.

…or touch keypads, all hands-free! Pretty handy, right?! You can also grab this keychain for $12.99.

Read about the Mickey Glove Keychain here!

Asia Market in Yak & Yeti

We also spotted some straw hats in the Asia Market in Yak & Yeti! The regular Straw Hat is $22, and you can pick from a variety of colors on the brim…

Straw Hats!

…while there’s also a glowing version to light up the night for $36!

Look at those lights!

Underneath the rim, there’s some LED lights — how fun!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Additional Update

Pandora

On a busy day in Disney World, it isn’t too much of a surprise to see long wait times throughout the park, especially in a popular spot like Pandora. But we were confused when we saw the Na’vi River Journey line starting in Pandora, going across the Discovery Island bridge, and then ending up back inside Pandora. Was this a new distancing effort? Were more pheasants blocking the walkways?

Look at that line!

Well, it turns out that the 60-minute wait at the attraction was a little more simple than that. After we noticed that the ends of both the Na’vi River Journey and the Flight of Passage line were in the same area…

Two lines at once!

…we realized that Disney was working on additional bioluminescent painting for an extra POP in the park. The construction area was in the way of the Na’vi River Journey’s regular pathway as fences surrounded the refurbishment zone.

Check out that glow-up!

We can’t wait to come back at night and see the glow-up in action for ourselves!

Check out the details of the LONG Na’vi River Journey line here!

Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! We’ll catch you next time for more updates. And, if you have any questions about your upcoming Disney vacation, let us know so we can help you find the answers.
