Valentine’s Display
Holidays at Disney World mean a few different things. You can typically expect special decorations and merchandise to celebrate the holiday, and then there’s OUR favorite part — the specialty treats! And today, we’re trying out MORE Valentine’s Day treats at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Creature Comforts is the Starbucks location in Animal Kingdom. Not only can you get your caffeine fix there, but the bakery also offers some specialty items, like the Cotton-Top Tamarin Cupcake and seasonal snacks! Today, we’re trying a Valentine’s Brownie topped with a Mousse Dome that is available for $5.49!

Strawberry mousse sits atop a chocolate brownie, AND it’s topped with pink, red, and white heart sprinkles! Chocolate ears add a fun touch to the mousse dome, and buttercream piping outlines where the dome and brownie meet.

When we gave it a try we found that the large brownie itself was VERY dense! It’s not the ooey gooey type of brownie that some of you might be in search of, but it’s still worth a try! And, the strawberry mousse was actually our favorite part! The fruity flavor was there but didn’t overpower the dessert. Though it didn’t look like there were any real strawberries used in the mousse, there may have been because there was no artificial flavor or aftertaste!

While we were eating this, we couldn’t stop thinking about how similar this brownie is to the Santa Mickey Mousse offered at this location around Christmas. There’s definitely an excess of options for Valentine’s themed treats this year, so stay tuned for more reviews coming your way!
