We’ve seen big crowds in Disney World over the last week.
The parks were packed last weekend due to the holiday — we saw some of the biggest crowds since Disney reopened last year! We expected things to slow down a bit as the week progressed, but we were hit with some MAJOR traffic today as we drove to the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Traffic was congested far down the road as we drove towards Magic Kingdom. Later, a Cast Member told us that it had been backed up all the way to EPCOT! That’s some crazy crowds.
As we got closer, signs reminded us that Park Pass reservations were needed to get into the park.
It took over 15 minutes for us to get to the parking booths, but we made it!
We managed to snag a pretty sweet parking spot in the Heroes lot, and there was barely any back up as we walked through temperature check and security at the Transportation and Ticket Center.
But once inside, we hit some crowds again near the ticket windows…
…and Cast Members encouraged guests to use the buses to get to Magic Kingdom instead of the monorail or ferry boat. While the line for those buses seemed long, it went quickly, and we were on our way to the park in no time!
These crowds heading into Magic Kingdom are a bit unusual, so we’ll keep you posted while we’re in the park today! As always, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news and updates.
