It’s just about time for a new month in Disney World!

Animal Kingdom

If you’re kicking off your March in the Most Magical Place on Earth, you’re going to want to keep up with the weather forecast. It can have a BIG impact on how you pack! To help, we’re bringing you a weather update with the temps and precipitation for next week!

Weather Forecast

According to The Weather Channel, this week is going to bring some warm temperatures, and yep, a little rain. Last week was HOT in comparison to the last few months. Will it be more of the same? Take a look!

March 1st

Monday, March 1st will start the week with the warmest temperatures that we’ll see. That day is going to max out at a 89-degree high and we’ll see 67 degrees at night.

Even with an over 20-degree drop from day to night, your evening will STILL be warm. Bust out your favorite Disney tee!

March 2nd

The next day, March 2nd, brings us ever-so-slightly cooler temps hitting 84 degrees during the day and dropping that low down to a comfy 66 degrees.

This is another day that you’ll probably get away without being chilly at all. Pretty sweet!

March 3rd

On Wednesday, March 3rd, we’re going to see temps jump back up a little bit. You’re low is gonna roll up just a little too!

This day will be primarily cloudy but with a pretty low chance of rain. Maybe you won’t have to don that rain jacket!

March 4th

For Thursday, March 4th, we’re seeing a slightly cooler day (see a pattern?) in the mid-80s and a similar drop in the evening to the low 60s.

This day will be mostly dry as well. Keep in mind that 62 degrees might feel a little chillier than you expect.

March 5th

The week continues with a BIG drop in temps and a chance of showers on March 5th.

Don’t worry, the showers are really only around in the morning. Still, 56 degrees is COOL for a Florida March! Be prepped with an extra layer for when those temps drop.

March 6th

Saturday, March 6th brings us about the same temperatures in the day and night as the day before, just a little cooler if you can believe it. We’re looking at a mild to cool weekend.

Here, we’ll see a 72-degree high and a 54-degree low. This day has the highest chance of rain for the week so it might be time to break out that rain jacket or poncho.

March 7th

And we’ll wrap up our week on March 7th with another (thankfully!) dry day and a little bump up in temperatures to a more comfortable zone.

That 79 degrees looks like it will make for a B-E-A-Utiful day!

Overview of the Week

Here is a full overview of the week according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures are projected to be on the warmer end this week. We’re looking at a range of 70s to 80s highs and 50s to 60s lows. No more 40s this week!

Tips for Weathering the Weather!

Now that we know the weather, we’ve got a few tips on how to pack and plan for those temperatures so you stay comfortable in temperature and dryness.

Grab Some Layers!

This is the first week in a while that you might be able to get away without layering for a few days, but other days this tip is as important as ever! Grab a jacket, hat, and/or scarf to throw on when those temperatures drop in the evening.

Remember, Disney gear comes at a premium so if you find yourself having to BUY your layers because your cold in the park, you might end up paying a pretty penny. Unless you’re hoping for a new Disney jacket, make sure you bring your own.

Pack for rain!

There’s not too much rain in the forecast this week, but the further we get into spring, the more likely a surprise shower will be! Make sure your luggage and park bag have a poncho or rain jacket so that you’re dry if the skies open up.

Pack some Ponchos!

When you have a rain layer, a little bit of a shower can be a nice cool-off on those warmer days! When you don’t have a rain layer, they’re a BIG nuisance that might have you heading for a gift shop.
