Hello movie stars, and welcome to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’re back in this lovely theme park to give you all the updates on what’s new! We found new merchandise, a snazzy car in the parking lot, and so much more, so let’s dive in!
Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates
Dok Ondars
Over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, we spotted a replica of the new Cal Kestis Lightsaber! We knew that this would be coming sometime this year, and according to this sign in the shop, it will be here in Fall 2021.
A Cast Member told us that this is just a replica, and that there are no working parts in it.
Still, it looks pretty cool! We’ll be on the lookout for a release date, and let you know when we get more information!

Mickey’s of Hollywood
In Mickey’s of Hollywood, we found the new (and old) Wishables Keychains! We spotted a Hitchhiking Ghost from The Haunted Mansion, Olaf, Anna, Dole Whip, Mickey Bar, and Skully from Jake and the Never Land Pirates previously in another shop at Hollywood Studios.
Each keychain is $9.99.

Darkroom
We didn’t find any new merchandise in The Darkroom, however we wanted to remind you that you can find all of the latest ears here!
We found the new Adjustable Rose Gold and Classic Ears, the Donut Ears…
…the 2021 Graduation Ears, the 2021 runDisney Ears, and SO many more!
Check out the 2021 runDisney Minnie Ears!
Tatooine Traders
Back in Tatooine Traders, we spotted a new-to-us Stormtrooper Mug! It’s got several Stormtrooper helmets with different artsy designs!
Each helmet has a unique look which makes this mug so much fun for Star Wars fans.
If you’re a major Stormtrooper fan, you can grab this for $14.99.
Here’s the new Baby Yoda Streetwear Collection!
Hollywood Studios Miscellaneous Update
Parking Lot
One of the coolest things we found on our trip to Hollywood Studios was actually OUTSIDE of the park! In the parking lot, we spotted this incredible Buzz Lightyear Car!
It’s covered in ALL of Buzz’s details from his color scheme to the design on his wings! It’s not quite the same, but it’s pretty close to the car you can see in the Character Cavalcade!
If this is your car, please let us know! We think it is SO cool, and now we kinda want a car decked out as our favorite Disney character!
Star Tours
It’s been a while since we’ve been on Star Tours, but we wanted to give a quick reminder that there is plexiglass on this attraction!
Plexiglass can be found in the line…
…the loading area…
…and on the actual ride.
This does not hinder your experience too much like some other attractions (we’re looking at you Frozen Ever After), but it is here!

Hollywood Studios Crowd Update
On our latest visit, the park was not very busy at all. The crowds that were there went towards the top attractions.
While we passed by the attractions, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster was at a 40-minute wait, Tower of Terror was at a 50-minute wait, Slinky Dog Dash was at a 60-minute wait, and Toy Story Mania was at 25 minutes. These times aren’t too bad considering how high we saw them during the holidays!
Now is the time to be at Disney World if you want to avoid crowds!
Wait Times in Disney World Significantly DROPPED This Week
That’s all the updates we’ve got for you today! We hope you had fun following along and seeing a new lightsaber, some plexiglass, and a Buzz Lightyear Car! We’ll continue making our way all over Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney news.
