Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Construction Update

Pool Areas

If you’re bringing your kiddos with you to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you’ll want to note that the kids’ pool area is closed at the moment to undergo a refurbishment!

Kids’ Pool Area Construction

Since much of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is experiencing construction, you may want to plan your resort stay accordingly as you chill out for a pool day or explore the parks!

Right next to the pool, the Barefoot Pool Bar was also closed to guests visiting the area.

The sign on the front of the shuttered window advised guests to head to the Tambu Lounge inside the resort instead for a refreshing beverage!

Monorail

As Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort continues to move forward with its huge refurbishment, the Monorail leading from the resort to the parks is still under construction.

Monorail Construction

The Monorail station was recently demolished in the midst of the updated entryway and transportation methods available to guests visiting the Polynesian.

Tarps and gates were up around the construction as a health and safety measure with signs directing visitors to the Great Ceremonial House.

We’ll keep an eye on this construction!
