You Can Be Part of Disney History But It’ll Cost You $2.5 MILLION

Ever wished you could just live inside of one of Disney’s amazing castles in their parks?

Sleeping Beauty Castle

Well, you can’t quite live there, but if you’ve got $2.5 million(!!) just laying around, gathering dust (we wish), you MIGHT be able to move into a home with a truly magical design.

A turret, stained glass, giant archways and SO much more make this Hollywood Hills cottage look like it came straight out of a fairy tale.

And, there’s a reason for that. As the NY Post shares, this house (which is listed for a cool $2.5 million) was built back in 1926 by Roland E. Hill. Hill was actually the architect of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland! Hill also advised on some designs for Fantasia, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Sleeping Beauty.

The home is (at least in our opinion) THE definition of charming. Just look at that incredible archway! We feel like we’ll turn the corner and just find Sleeping Beauty sitting down in the dining room. There’s also stained glass in the home reminiscent of the stained glass in the Sleeping Beauty film.

And there’s more where that came from.

In the living room, there are exposed wooden beams, a fireplace, a stained glass window, a wrought-iron chandelier, and more. These details all really feel make it like you stopped into a fairy tale cottage or even a small castle of your own. We say clear the furniture and make this space your ballroom — you know, for all those magical dance moments from the movies.

The original blueprints and 1926 photos are also included. Oh, and did we mention that this house is a registered historic home?! But, don’t worry, it’s still got all the modern things you need like an updated kitchen.

And, of course, you can’t have a proper castle without a separate guest house, a 2-carriage (car) garage, citrus trees, a fountain, a fire pit, a heated pool, and balcony with built in seats! We’d never leave. Okay, maybe we’d leave to visit Disneyland.

Thinking of making an offer? You might just get to deal with another celebrity for that too. According to the Realtor.com post for this home, the realtor presenting this home is Joshua Altman who some might recognize from the show Million Dollar Listing.

So, you might not be able to live in Sleeping Beauty Castles, but you can live in a home built by the guy who designed it! Now, if only we could all turn in our Galaxy’s Edge credits to cash and buy this house.
