A Peek at Some of the Incredible Disney Resort Easter Egg Displays!

The Disney resort pastry chefs have been hard at work creating amazing Easter egg displays to bring a bit of extra magic to guests visiting this Spring. I’m happy to say that I had the chance to take a few pictures of them last night so that I can share them with you!

On my visit to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort (side note: if you haven’t stopped by Ale & Compass to enjoy a meal, I highly recommend that you add it to your to-do list…yum!), I spied an Easter egg or three that the resort’s pastry chefs had created.

Guests will find a Peter Pan-inspired giant egg (pictured above) on the long serving counter at Ale & Compass. The detail on both the front and the back of the egg is amazing. The Jolly Roger pirate ship is clad in gold and shown heading toward the second star to the right. Gold doubloons and treasure maps complete the scene.

On the back of the egg, the Darling family children are shown flying over London, and Tinker Bell sits atop the egg.

In the lobby, guests will find a trio of eggs. The centerpiece Easter egg is themed to Disney’s Aladdin. The mouth of the ominous Cave of Wonders is open and reveals Genie’s gold lamp sitting just inside, and Jasmine and Raja float above on Magic Carpet. Again, the detailed work on the egg display is simply incredible.

To the right of the Aladdin-themed egg, you’ll find an Alice in Wonderland/Mad Tea Party-themed egg that depicts Alice having quite a time with her friends.

A Never Land-themed egg can be found to the left of the display. The seafoam green egg is topped by a standing Tinker Bell, and vanity accessories are featured at the bottom. The entire egg rotates so that guests may see all of the chefs’ artistry. Smaller eggs and bunnies complete the scene.

In the lobby, guests can also take a peek at the limited edition hollow chocolate Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse eggs that are available for purchase just down the hall in The Market at Ale & Compass.
