Easter is coming up this weekend, and we’ve got the rundown on all sorts of Easter treats you can find.
Gasparilla Grill at Grand Floridian
You can see our full review here, but any of these treats are a wonderful option. (We love carrot cake, so that is our favorite of the ones we tried, but cracking open that chocolate egg full of jellybeans certainly was a lot of fun, too!)
Beach Club Marketplace
You can see our full review here. By far, the springtime Oreo bonbons were the favorite choice. There’s a reason why they are a signature dessert!
The Ganachery, Disney Springs
You can read our full review here. The Chocolate Piñata is always a crowd pleaser, but our pick is the Boozy Bourbon Bunny. This isn’t your kid’s chocolate bunny in a box!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Available at various location in Animal Kingdom (including Flame Tree, Restaurantosaurus, and Creature Comforts) is a Thumper Carrot Cake Cupcake. At $5.99 like most cupcakes, we’re a fan because the TouringPlans parks team loves carrot cake. It has just the right amount of cream cheese frosting, spring sprinkles, and a pretty big mound of caramel buttercream (although you could have told us it was regular buttercream and we’d believe you). The problem is that using mobile order means that it was sitting near a heat lamp, and. . . well, to quote Thumper, if you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothin’ at all.
Magic Kingdom
The Main Street Confectionary has closed for refurbishment, however we were able to snap some pictures of the fun Easter treats before they closed. During the refurb, grab and go options will be available at the Main Street Cinema. It wouldn’t be surprising to us if some of these treats “hopped” on over there. We really loved the cute detail for the cottontail Rice Krispy treat.
Various Locations
At various locations around Walt Disney World, Easter-themed chocolate apples are available. We got ours at Disney Springs, but different styles can be found anywhere that sells those enormous Disney apples. At $10.99 they’re pricey, but easily something that you would want to split between a few people.
Easter will be here before you know it, so if any of these treats has appeal to you, you’ll want to hop to it and get your favorites!
Which of these Easter treats do you like best? Let us know in the comments.
