We have exciting news regarding when Disneyland will be able to reopen!
Today, California Governor Gavin Newsom shared updates related to the state’s guidelines in response to the global health crisis.
These updated guidelines from the state’s health department will allow California theme parks to reopen on April 1st, as reported by the Orange County Register.
Beginning on the first of April, theme parks in California will be able to reopen at 15% capacity in the “substantial” tier. Further capacity adjustments can be made once counties are in the “moderate” and “minimal” tier. California residents will be the only guests permitted to attend the reopened parks.
Orange County, where Disneyland is located, is currently in the “widespread” tier, but is anticipated to movie into the “substantial” tier sometime in the next week. If the county does move into the “substantial” tier, it would have the potential to reopen on April 1st.
Disneyland has yet to share any updates, but we’ll be on the lookout! Be sure to check back with us for more Disneyland news!
