Spring Break has arrived and each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks had average posted wait times near the highest they’ve been in the past 30 days. Two water rides had the highest posted wait times in all of Walt Disney World: Na’vi River Journey at Animal Kingdom and Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom.

Disney’s posted wait times were pretty accurate at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, but not EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. We received 169 actual wait times from our Lines app users, our awesome Liner community. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios we observed 489 out of 500 (97.8%) guests wearing their masks in accordance with Disney’s guidelines.

Magic Kingdom Wait Times

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had an average wait time today of 44 minutes. Its 7-day average is 43 minutes, so today ranks #3 for this week. Its 30-day average is 52 minutes, so today ranks #21 for the past month. We received 8 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 43% of the posted wait time, so the average actual wait was 19 minutes.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin had an average wait time today of 43 minutes. Its 7-day average is 41 minutes, so today ranks #2 for this week. Its 30-day average is 41 minutes, so today ranks #13 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 29 minutes, so today ranks #34 for the past year.

Jungle Cruise had an average wait time today of 54 minutes. Its 7-day average is 44 minutes, so today ranks #1 for this week. Its 30-day average is 45 minutes, so today ranks #3 for the past month. We received 4 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 130% of the posted wait time.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic had an average wait time today of 31 minutes. Its 7-day average is 28 minutes, so today ranks #2 for this week. Its 30-day average is 28 minutes, so today ranks #8 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 20 minutes, so today ranks #27 for the past year.

Peter Pan’s Flight had an average wait time today of 45 minutes. Its 7-day average is 40 minutes, so today ranks #2 for this week. We received 4 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 76% of the posted wait time, so the average actual wait was 34 minutes.

Space Mountain had an average wait time today of 55 minutes. Its 7-day average is 44 minutes, so today ranks #1 for this week. Its 30-day average is 46 minutes, so today ranks #9 for the past month. We received 4 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 45% of the posted wait time, so the average actual wait was 25 minutes.

Splash Mountain had an average wait time today of 95 minutes. Its 7-day average is 59 minutes, so today ranks #1 for this week. Its 30-day average is 66 minutes, so today ranks #1 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 50 minutes, so today ranks #2 for the past year.

The Haunted Mansion had an average wait time today of 37 minutes. Its 7-day average is 28 minutes, so today ranks #1 for this week. The Force is strong with Rise of the Resistance today. No major delays and boarding groups are near the top of pace of the past 7 days. Looks like boarding groups will exceed 150 before the day is done.
