Disneyland Adds Alcohol To Another Restaurant Menu!

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have been closed for OVER a year (except for some minimal reopenings, like through the A Touch of Disney event). But, both theme parks are set to reopen in just a few weeks!

Soon Guests Will Be Able to Visit Disneyland Again!

We’ve already seen some ways in which Disneyland will be different when it reopens due to the reopening guidelines and restrictions, but now we’ve got another update. If you’re looking for a spot to grab an alcoholic beverage in Disneyland, you’ll soon have one more place to go!

Many BIG Disney fans believe that no trip to Disneyland Park is complete without a stop at Blue Bayou Restaurant.

Blue Bayou

This gorgeous restaurant located INSIDE of part of Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean ride and overlooks the ride’s boats and their guests as they float by.

Such a Gorgeous View!

Underneath the soft twinkling lights, you’ll find candlelit tables, a menu full of YUMMY treats like the cult-classic Monte Cristo Sandwich, and more that make this restaurant an absolute delight.

Previously, you could get a number of non-alcoholic specialty beverages at this spot, including the signature non-alcoholic Mint Julep. But, soon guests will have some more beverages to choose from!

Disney has just shared that when Blue Bayou Restaurant reopens in Disneyland, it will offer NEW beverage options for guests to enjoy. This spot will open AFTER the theme parks reopen on April 30th, so just keep that in mind, but Disney has noted that they will share an opening date for the restaurant soon.

A Peek at Blue Bayou

So, what new drinks will be available when Blue Bayou is able to reopen? Well, Disneyland has shared that there will be alcoholic beverages now available at Blue Bayou! Guests will get the chance to sip on some wine, beer, and even a specialty Hurricane Cocktail. There will also be a NEW celebration sparkling wine package available that you might want to check out. You’ll be able to pair these new drinks with some classic dishes from Blue Bayou soon.

This is a pretty big deal considering that just a few years ago Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland became the first spot in the parks to serve up alcoholic beverages outside of Club 33.

In addition to the addition of alcoholic beverages to the menu, new, seasonal takes on the Mint Julep non-alcoholic beverage will be coming in the future as well.

So, the next time you stop by Blue Bayou it seems you’ll likely have quite a few new options to try when it comes to beverages. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates about Disneyland and its reopening. Stay tuned for more Disney news!
