Ever since the Disney World parks closed last year, we’ve seen a lot of charities and fundraisers to help out the Cast Members who lost their jobs.
When thousands of Cast Members were laid off due to the pandemic, many fans stepped up in a big way and helped out to support those in need. Thankfully, that generosity is still continuing, and if you’d like to help out some of those furloughed employees, there’s an event you need to know about!
The Community Presbyterian Church in Celebration, FL is hosting a Cast Member Fair on Saturday, April 3rd. The event will be filled with Easter-themed celebrations, including the Easter Bunny, crafts, gifts, and an egg hunt. But, besides all the family fun, the fair will benefit many Cast Members who have lost their jobs.
If you’d like to show up and support, you can visit 511 Celebration Ave from 10AM-5PM. Masks and social distancing are required for the event. For those local to Walt Disney World, this would be a great way to show your appreciation for those who “make magic.”
We’ll make sure to keep you updated if we receive any more pertinent information or details regarding this event. Stay tuned to DFB for more ways to help out Disney Cast Members in their time of need!
