Expect Warm Weather and a Chance of Rain in Disney World Next Week

This time of year LOTS of families head for The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you’re one of the travelers, you’re probably thinking about packing. Well, we’re here to help! Check out what the weather will look like in Disney World next week!

Weather Forecast

According to The Weather Channel, warm and mostly sunny days with a bit of wain. Last week was similarly toasty. This week might be a little wetter, but those temps should continue. Let’s take a look!

March 15th

Monday, March 15th will start the week with fairly warm daytime temperatures. That day is going to max out at an 88-degree high and we’ll see 66 degrees at night.

This should be a pretty gorgeous day! Keep in mind that that low might feel a little chillier than you expect, but it should be fairly comfy alllll day.

March 16th

The next day, March 16th, brings us ever-so-slightly warmer temps hitting the highest of the week at 89 degrees during the day and keeping that low down at a nice 66 degrees.

This is another day that you might want an extra layer in the evening, or you might be okay in that tee all day!

March 17th

On Wednesday, March 17th, we’re going to see temps jump down a little bit. You’re low is gonna roll up just a little too! These are pretty cozy temps we’re sticking with.

This day will likely be rain-free too — but don’t get TOO used to it.

March 18th

For Thursday, March 18th, we’re seeing a day with the exact same temps in the high-80s and a little drop in the evening staying in the mid-60s.

This day will likely bring the first rain of the week. Expect showers and thunderstorms scattered throughout the afternoon and evening. Keep that raincoat or poncho handy!

March 19th

The week continues with a little bit of a drop in temps and a lower chance of rain on March 19th.

So, don’t worry too much about rain! The chance is low this day. This is the first day where that low drops back into the 50s, so go ahead and be prepped with some layers!

March 20th

Saturday, March 20th brings us the LOWEST temps of the week with a pretty big drop, but don’t worry, your day should still be on the warm side. We’re looking at a cooler weekend compared to the week, but nothing like we were seeing back in February.

Here, we’ll see a 73-degree high and a 58-degree low.

March 21st

And we’ll wrap up our week on March 21st with a VERY comfortable day temperature-wise. But, look out for rain!

At least when the temperatures drop in the evening the rain should be done for the day.

Overview of the Week

Here is a full overview of the week according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures are projected to be about as warm as last week. We’re looking at a range of 70s to 80s highs and 50s to 60s lows. We’re getting closer and closer to those HOT Florida temps!

Tips for Weathering the Weather!

Now that we know the weather, we’ve got a few tips on how to pack and plan so you stay comfortable!

Prep for rain!

As those temperatures get warmer, rain is going to start to become more and more of the norm. Hey, we ARE coming up on those April showers. Make sure you keep a rain layer handy like a raincoat or a poncho.

As a bonus, if you bring a raincoat that has a little insulation, it can keep you warm on those evenings where the temperatures drop into the 50s. Plus, it’ll keep you dry when you get your ride in on Splash Mountain!

Get ready for the heat!

We’ve been seeing a LOT more warm days in Disney World so that means you need to be ready for dealing with those higher temps. We’ve got a few tips that we consider MUSTS when it gets hot. Stay hydrated and wear that sunscreen! Drinking plenty of water and blocking those UV rays will help to keep you comfy during your trip.

Wearing Masks in the Parks

And a new tip as of this past year is that we recommend bringing an extra mask. In the event that yours gets sweaty or even just starts to absorb humidity, swapping to a fresh or disposable mask could make you MUCH more comfortable.
