Since its initial reopening, Disney World has added signs all over property reminding guests about the various face mask policies.
In these policies, guests must keep their face masks on at all time, which includes during photos anywhere in the parks. Today, we found a new addition that reminds guests to keep their masks on while taking pics.
While strolling around EPCOT, we noticed a a sticker on the ground that we hadn’t seen before. With the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival currently happening, the topiaries are a hot spot for picture taking.
The sticker says “wear a mask while taking photos”, and is placed right where someone would stand for a picture with Belle and the Beast. We spotted a few of these around World Showcase today.
Another sign we’ve seen mentioning this policy in the past says “Masks must be worn over the nose and mouth at all times including when taking photographs.” Even though these trash can signs are older, the ground stickers we saw today are new and the wording has been slightly changed.
Remember: face coverings must be worn by anyone ages 2 and up at all times unless actively eating or drinking. We have only seen these in EPCOT so far, but we will be on the lookout to see if they’ve been added to any other parks. Stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates and news from Disney World.
