If you fly to Disney World, there’s a lot you need to know right now!
Most airlines have implemented new health and safety measures to deal with the pandemic. Also, Disney’s Magical Express service to and from the Orlando International Airport is being discontinued at the end of this year. On top of that, several new flight options are coming soon to Orlando, including some to the UK!
The airline Aer Lingus plans to begin offering direct flights from Manchester to several US cities. As part of this list, a new flight to Orlando will be available starting July 29th.
This new flight will be offered on a large Airbus A330-300 aircraft, considering Orlando is a popular vacation destination. No specific details have been given on a price for this flight, but Aer Lingus mentions that their summer transatlantic fares “start from £199 each-way, as part of a return journey.”
Other places that will get direct flights from Manchester are New York’s JFK airport on July 29th, Barbados on October 20th, and Boston in the summer of 2022. These new flights will create nearly 120 job opportunities for the people of North England.
This is all subject to government approval and could change depending on the UK travel restrictions in place come July. We’ll make sure to keep you updated on any more flight information that you need to know! Follow along with DFB for the latest in Disney and travel news!
