We totally get it, you’re going to Disney World and you want to do all the BEST things!

You probably want to stay at the best resort, go on the best rides, and (maybe most importantly) eat all the best food! As the Disney Food Blog, we consider ourselves experts on that last one, and we’ve put together quite a few “best food” lists over the years. Today we’re talking about the best snacks in Disney World, but more precisely, how much it would COST to eat the 20 best snacks. Let’s start that budget now!

Gideon’s Bakehouse Cookies

Let’s start out with one of the hottest topics in Disney World RN: Gideon’s Bakehouse Cookies! These cookies are MASSIVE (like, tipping the scales at half a pound each!) and oh-so-delicious. They’re so amazing, in fact, that they had an 11-hour virtual queue on the day of the grand opening!

In fact, most days you can expect Each Gideon’s Bakehouse cookie is $6 before tax. It may seem expensive for a cookie, but keep in mind that these things are piled high with toppings and weigh half a pound!

Adventureland Spring Rolls

Some people may not be huge fans of these, but here at DFB, we can’t get enough of the savory Adventureland Spring Rolls! You can find these at a cart outside of the entrance to Adventureland (when it’s open!) and they typically have two flavors: pepperoni pizza and cheeseburger.

We’ve seen other flavors over the years, but those two have stood the test of time. For $7.50 you’ll get two rolls. You can mix-and-match, or you can double up on your favorite flavor. These are a great option for a savory snack in a park that’s full of sweet treats!

Dole Whip Floats

Listen, we could sit here all day long and share our passion for Dole Whip Floats If you’ve been a longtime reader, you know how true that is. We’ve seen so many different combinations of these over the years, although some have stood out as clear winners (hello there, Kakamora Float ).

You’ll find Dole Whip floats all around the parks at various locations: Aloha Isle, Sunshine Tree Terrace, Storybook Treats, Tamu Tamu, and many others. The options vary from place to place, but most of the time, a typical float will cost you around $5.99-6.99.

Cheshire Cat Tail

Looking for a surprisingly good pastry to eat for breakfast in Magic Kingdom? Well, let us just tell you about the Cheshire Cat Tail. It’s a flaky pastry filled with chocolate and drizzled with icing — all good and delicious things.

Since the parks reopened, this thing has bounced around a bit. We’ve seen it at the Lunching Pad and at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, considering its original home, the Cheshire Cafe hasn’t reopened. But no matter where you find it, right now you can get one for $5.49.

Charcuterie Board from BaseLine Tap House

Disney World is home to quite a few charcuterie boards, but there’s one that stands out above the rest! You’ll find this spectacular board over at BaseLine Tap House in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This charcuterie board has all the goods: various meats, multiple kinds of cheese, grapes, cornichons (itty bitty baby pickles), and toasted baguettes. The main reason we love it (aside from, you know, meat and cheese and bread!) is that price — $10 gets you all these goodies! 

Carrot Cake Cookie

The Carrot Cake Cookie in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a longtime DFB favorite, and we’re so glad that it came back earlier this year! Currently, you can find it at the park’s Starbucks location, Trolley Car Cafe. 

It’s made with two chunky pieces of carrot cake filled with SO MUCH yummy cream cheese frosting. It’s also one of the cheaper options on our list for only $3.99!

Wookiee Cookie

And speaking of cookies in Hollywood Studios, let’s chat about the Wookiee Cookie! First up, if you wanna get Star Wars technical on it, it’s a Wookiee cookie, but many people spell it Wookie. If you’re a fan of oatmeal creme pies, then this was made for you.

Two gigantic soft and chewy oatmeal cookies form a sandwich with a fluffy cream filling in-between. To top it off, you get a chocolate decoration to make it match the bandolier of our favorite Wookiee, Chewbacca! Pick this one up at Backlot Express for $5.99.

Num Num Cookie

You didn’t think we were done talking about cookies, did you? Seriously, what is it about Hollywood Studios that they just bring it so hard in the massive cookie department?? The Num Num Cookie at The Market in Hollywood Studios is inspired by Jack-Jack from the hit movie, The Incredibles. 

It’s made sort of like a chocolate chip skillet cookie and served inside a paper cookie cup. The edges have nice crispiness to them but the middle is soft and gooey — just how we like it. And yes, friends — it’s served warm . Pick this one up for $6.19.

Peanut Butter Crunch Cupcake (AKA The Butterfinger Cupcake)

This is another big longtime favorite here at DFB, and we’re thrilled to have it back in the parks, even if it’s not quite the same as it used to be. 

Right now, you can find this treat at Rosie’s All-American Cafe for $4.99. If you’re in the market for a Disney cupcake, we think this should be at the top of your list! Butterfinger-crusted peanut butter frosting and fudgy filling are a match made in heaven!

Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich

Also known as the Nutella Waffle Sandwich, this treat has become a big hit in Magic Kingdom. Whether you order one for breakfast or dessert, you won’t likely be disappointed. It’s a soft, large waffle topped with chocolate hazelnut spread (AKA Nutella) and a load of fresh fruit, including bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. 

We like to convince ourselves that this is a totally acceptable and healthy breakfast because it has fruit on top, and if you agree with that claim, then we think you’ll fit in nicely here! Just ignore the mini boatload of Nutella smeared all over it! If you’re tempted by the photo above, then make sure to stop by Sleepy Hollow Refreshments and pick this up for $8.29.

Totchos

Oh, Totchos, how we love you! You may think, “those just look like loaded tater tots,” but you’d be wrong my friend…they are so much more.

They’re tater tots topped with chili, queso, corn chips, sour cream, and green onions and they’re a perfect size — just right for an individual meal or to be split as a snack. They’re $8.99 at Woody’s Lunch Box, and next time you’re in Toy Story Land, you NEED to stop by. 

Dino Bite Ice Cream Sandwiches

Over at Dino-Bite Snacks in Animal Kingdom is a handmade snack worth stopping for — ice cream sandwiches. The flavors here vary from season to season, so you can stop by on every trip and try something different! The gist is the same though — 2 fresh cookies smooshed around a massive scoop of ice cream, often rolled in sprinkles or other goodies.

Some of our favorite sandwiches include the Strawberry Shortcake and the Peppermint one at Christmastime. Next time you’re in Animal Kingdom, swing by this spot in DinoLand and you may just find a new favorite snack — and they’re only $6.99 each and are MASSIVE!

Mr. Kamal’s Fries

Speaking of Animal Kingdom, let’s head over to Asia for a snack that’s seriously underrated…Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries. You may be wondering how french fries weaseled their way onto this list, but these are no ordinary fries!

They’re fried up nice and crispy and topped with an intriguing seasoning, but the best part is that they come with two dipping sauce options: Curried Honey Mustard and Korean Chili Ketchup. We think everyone should try these at least once, and for $5.99, they’re a great shareable option.

Blue or Green Milk

Traveling to a galaxy far, far away? Then you need to drink what the locals drink! While blue or green milk may not be the best snack out there depending on your tastes, it’s definitely one that you need to try for the sake of saying you did.  The mix of coconut and rice milks is soft frozen and full of interesting fruity flavors.

Stop by the Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge over in Hollywood Studios to try these two beverages and decide where you stand. Can’t decide? Get both and make a layered parfait or a cool waterfall-style mix! You can order them for $7.99 each (the alcoholic versions are $14).

Grey Stuff Cupcake

You remember that famous line from “Be Our Guest” where Lumiere sings “try the grey stuff, it’s delicious?” Well, he was right!

You can try the “official” grey stuff over at Be Our Guest Restaurant, but if you don’t want to pay premium prices, then head on over to Gaston’s Tavern for the Grey Stuff Cupcake. It’s $5.49 and comes topped with the decadent cookies and cream mousselike treat!

Everglazed Donuts

This is a spot that’s brand-new to Disney World in 2021! Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew has quickly become a hit in Disney Springs with their over-the-top donuts and interesting sandwich options. 

They have some regular, straightforward donut choices, but if you want to go for one of the big ones (like the Oreo one pictured above), then it’ll cost you $5.50. Warning, these are MASSIVE donuts with lots of toppings, so you may want to split one!

‘Ohana Bread Pudding

Oh ‘Ohana, how we miss you so much! If we can’t get the full restaurant right now, at least we can try the dessert. 

We’ve seen the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding served at two different locations recently: both Kona Cafe and the Tambu Lounge. You can get it for $12 and dream wistfully about when we can enjoy one of Disney World’s most popular restaurants again!

Pongu Lumpia

It may not look like much, but the Pongu Lumpia from Pongu Pongu in the Pandora section of Animal Kingdom is a yummy surprise in disguise! It’s a spring roll filled with cream cheese and pineapple, and we highly recommend it for a snack or breakfast.

For only $3.29, you get not one, but TWO of these…that’s a steal! This one seems to be a “love it or hate it” treat for many Disney fans, so give it a go and see which side you land on.

Dole Whip Nachos

It’s shocking to us that more people aren’t screaming and shouting from the rooftops of Disney World because Dole Whip Nachos EXIST! You can grab this treat at Marketplace Snacks in Disney Springs and it’s seriously everything we’ve ever dreamed about all in one.

You’ve got pineapple Dole Whip, pineapple tidbits, whipped cream, strawberry drizzle, sprinkles, mango boba balls, AND waffle cone chips — what more could you ask?

Corn Dog Nuggets

We’ve been missing our beloved corn dog nuggets at Casey’s Corner since the parks reopened, but thankfully we found a suitable replacement at Westward Ho in Frontierland! These nuggs are golden and perfect with all the flavors that we miss from Casey’s. 

If you want to stop by and grab an order to test them out for yourself, they’ll cost you $6.99, which isn’t a bad deal for most of a meal! Want to plus that up even more? You can order a side of corn dog nuggs from Pecos Bill Tale Tale Inn and Cafe across the street as well — but order them with a $1 side of white queso for dunking!

FINAL TOTAL

So what does it cost if you want to grab all 20 of the snacks on this list? Well keep in mind you gotta snag Park Pass reservations and tickets into the parks to get many of these. And some spots have quite the wait to get in (looking at you, Gideon’s!), so your time and added expenses are certainly going to add up as well. BUT, just for the foods, the grand total is (drum roll, please) $137.65!

Keep in mind that the total only includes getting one of each item on the list, so if you have a big group or want to try multiple Dole Whip floats or donuts, then you’ll need to budget more.
