Disney has just announced a way to allow guests to connect their Walt Disney World plans to their smart devices called Disney MagicMobile.
Guests visiting Walt Disney World will, beginning later this year, be able to create a Disney MagicMobile pass through the My Disney Experience app and add it to their smart device’s wallet. By doing so, guests will be able to scan their smart device and access the parks in the same way that they can with a MagicBand.
Disney MagicMobile service, which will be introduced in stages, will be available first on Apple devices (both iPhones and Apple watches). Guests will be able to use both MagicBands and Disney MagicMobile interchangeably.
Resort guests will still access the digital room key feature via the My Disney Experience app. If guests would like a physical Key to the World card, they can request one at their resort’s front desk.
