The spotlight may be on EPCOT as it prepares for Flower and Garden Festival, and as World Showcase Lagoon is taken over by various barges for Harmonious, but there’s some new stuff at Disney’s Animal Kingdom too. Let’s take a quick look.
First, the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail refurbishment is complete, thank goodness. This refurbishment shut down about half of this attraction, making some walkways cramped and uncomfortable. Nothing major was changed in the attraction, just lots of needed tender loving care.
Animal Kingdom has been celebrating the release of Raya and The Last Dragon starting this week. There is a sand sculpture on Discovery Island. And there’s three sweet treats to honor the new movie too.
DINOSAUR the attraction has been having some down times throughout this week. Na’vi River Journey has been vying for the longest posted wait time in all of Walt Disney World. Pre-COVID precautions we never would have guessed that Avatar – Flight of Passage would have less of a wait time than Na’vi River Journey.
That’s it for Animal Kingdom for now. Stick with us on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and right here on the blog for daily updates about the parks!
