PHOTOS: Here’s What the Spring Break Crowds Look Like in Disney World

It’s the start of spring break season in Disney World!

Tree of Life

Even though a small majority of the U.S. population plans to travel this year, we’re still expecting MAJOR crowds in the parks. Disney’s been preparing, too: they’ve recently extended park hours and added Park Pass reservations. And guys, the time is HERE. Let’s take a look at how the crowds are shapin’ up for spring break in Disney World.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Buckle up, because it’s a wild ride in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today! Just take a look at these crowds.

In DinoLand U.S.A., the Dinosaur line was wayyy back by Chester and Hester’s DinoRama sign. Yikes!

That’s a longgg line, folks.

And the wait for TriceraTop Spin was a whopping 30 minutes!

30 whole minutes?!

We headed over to Asia to see if things looked any better. The wait for Expedition Everest was also 30 minutes, and the line wove through the Rivers of Light theater.

Can you even see the mountain from back here?

In Pandora, we waited in line for Na’vi River Journey for 90 minutes!

People, the line was so long it took us BACKSTAGE. When we checked up on it later in the day, that wait time had gone up to 2 hours.

Over in Africa, Kilimanjaro Safaris was at an hour wait — and the end of the line was wrapped around Tusker House!

Settle in for a LONG wait, people.

Okay, so it’s safe to say Animal Kingdom is PRETTY crowded today. Let’s check up on some other parks!

This Animal Kingdom Attraction JUST Closed Temporarily!

EPCOT

When we walked in, EPCOT seemed much quieter. Is that OPEN SPACE we see?!

Phew, this is much more peaceful!

We saw some thicker crowds in the World Showcase, such as over in the China Pavilion…

…but overall, the park seemed calmer. We even got a clear view at the American Adventure Pavilion!

However, the wait times were a bit higher than normal. Around 4PM, the wait for Test Track was 80 minutes

Soarin’ was 50 minutes

…and Spaceship Earth was 35 minutes. Considering we’ve seen Spaceship Earth at a walk-up line in the last couple of weeks, we’re gonna say the park is definitely fuller today.

Let’s head over to Magic Kingdom and see how things are there!

Disney JUST Announced the Opening Date for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT!

Magic Kingdom

Guys, Magic Kingdom felt SO crowded today. Over by Tomorrowland Speedway, there was barely even room to walk.

SO many people!

The wait times weren’t too pleasant, either. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was at 35 minutes

Splash Mountain was at 95 minutes

…and Pirates of the Caribbean was at 75 minutes.

Hey, at least The Barnstormer was only at a 20-minute wait!

Just walking around Magic Kingdom felt very congested. The spring break crowds are definitely here!

Keep in mind that these lines all look EXTRA long due to social distancing — but the parks are still packed! We’ll keep an eye on these spring break crowds and keep updating this post throughout the week! We’re expecting the parks to get even busier over the next week or so.
