We love keeping an eye out for anything unusual in Disney World.
Cinderella Castle
And we’ve been hangin’ around Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom a LOT lately, watching the construction. After all, with Disney World’s 50th anniversary coming up, we’re already starting to see some preparations! But today, we spotted something weird on the OTHER side of the castle.
We were walking through Fantasyland, just admiring the views, when we noticed something strange at Sir Mickey’s.
Pretty nice view, right?!
Okay, maybe you haven’t seen it yet. We’ll zoom in a little. One of the steeples has been painted! And, strangely enough, all the others have been left their normal (and kinda dull) selves.
What’s up with the color change?!
This fancy new color matches the darker blue around the front of the castle, so we’re guessing we might see the other steeples above Sir Mickey’s get a makeover, too.
Check out that blue on the front side of the castle!
Seems like the start of a fun little project! We hadn’t realized how much Sir Mickey’s needed the touch-up until we saw that freshly-painted steeple. As always, we’ll keep ya posted with the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB!
