Lots of St. Patrick’s Day detail!
There, you’ll find this cupcake, which is a chocolate cake with a Bailey’s Irish cream mousse dome covered in a velvet chocolate spray. Plus, it’s decorated with chocolate ganache, shamrock sprinkles, and chocolate and vanilla crisp pearls. It certainly screams St. Paddy’s Day, with a mossy green top and a golden (chocolate) shamrock on top!

This was a simple, yet rich cupcake. The chocolate cake itself was moist which was great with the mousse. Now, speaking of the mousse — you can really taste the Bailey’s flavor, and we loved it!

Besides decorating the outside of the cupcake, the chocolate and vanilla pearls were also inside the mousse dome. This made for a surprising, crunchy bite every once in a while!

We thought this cupcake was perfectly decorated for St. Patrick’s Day, and its flavors were a great match as well. A filling could have been a fun addition, but we loved the combo of the mousse and cake as it was. But, if you don’t like the taste of liqueur in your desserts, you may want to try another St. Patrick’s Day treat.
