You know how we love those HUGE Donuts at Joffrey’s Coffee kiosks around Disney World, right?

Seriously, they are always fresh, fluffy, and flavorful, whether they’re covered in coconut or sprinkles or if they are sporting antlers and a red nose like a certain reindeer. We never need an excuse to grab one! The thing is… we may have just found an excuse to pass on a Joffrey’s Donut (for a day or two, anyway). Because we were tempted by another new treat at a Joffrey’s kiosk today!
This particular Joffrey’s kiosk is located right outside of Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios. (But you’ll find a Joffrey’s just about everywhere in Disney World!)

Peeking out from the pastry assortment was a new turnover-Danish-pastry-type-thing. Okay, so it didn’t have an official name 
. We’re going with the Strawberry and Cheese Pastry!

At least, that’s what the cast members said this new pastry is filled with. Honestly, it tasted a little different to us, but more on that in a minute! This pastry is very similar to a Danish, but with LOTS of powdered sugar and less icing all over.

Again, we were told it was filled with strawberry along with the sweet cheese, but it tasted much more like a cherry filling. But you know what?

It doesn’t even matter to us, because this was SO good! Just LOOK at all this rich, sweet filling! It’s also just about a perfect balance of both flavors, to boot. But here’s the thing…

We learned that this pastry probably won’t be here all that long. The friendly cast members explained that they’ve been getting in more items that are one-day offerings (or available for just a few days). Basically, they’re trying to offer more than just donuts and muffins on a regular basis.

The Strawberry and Cheese Pastry is $4.99, and we think you should grab it if you see it! Because I can tell you this: if all the specialty items are this tasty, we’ll be stopping by Joffrey’s kiosks even more than we already do!
