Hey there friends, we’re LIVE from A Touch of Disney at Disney California Adventure Park!
This hard-ticketed event features tons of food options from around Disneyland Resort, exclusive perks for Legacy Passholders, ADORABLE character interactions, and MUCH more! We’re tasting LOTS of different items all over the park (including WINGS from Trader Sam’s). And now, we’re heading over to Smokejumpers Grill to get a Disneyland classic and 2 NEW items!
Menu
Smokejumpers Grill reopened for a time as part of Buena Vista Street and we actually got the chance to eat there back in November. But, Smokejumpers has now reopened as part of the “A Touch of Disney” event with a NEW menu.
The menu now includes NEW Imposible Chili Waffle Fries…
…some desserts and drinks…
…a NEW Brisket Mac ‘n Cheese, a NEW Petite Impossible Burger, and a few other items. But, perhaps MOST importantly, Smokejumpers is now serving up the BELOVED Monte Cristo Sandwich from Blue Bayou!!
When we saw that we could have the opportunity to once again be reunited with this signature Disneyland treat, we KNEW we had to give it a try! And we couldn’t help but get a few other items while we were there too.
Just a quick note before we get into the review that Mobile Order is available at Smokejumpers through the Disneyland app.
There are also 3 different little novelty items you can get here, including the Sapphire Glow Cube.
Okay, okay, enough talking — let’s eat!
Food
For today’s sampling, we got 3 items. First up, we’ve got the NEW Brisket Mac ‘n Cheese. This dish is made with creamy mac ‘n cheese, smoked barbecue brisket, pickled red onions, and crispy fried shallots.
Smokejumpers has had some unique mac ‘n cheese creations before, but this was a new addition to the menu!
If you’re looking for a cheesy dish with a bit of brisket, you can try this for $7.49.
We also got the NEW Impossible Chili Waffle Fries while we were there. These waffle fries are served with chili with beans, tomato and corn, spicy mayo, cheddar cheese, and pico de gallo.
If you’re looking for a mix of fries, chili, and cheese, you can try this dish yourself for $7.99.
And last but CERTAINLY NOT least, we (of course) HAD to get the 1/2 Monte Cristo Sandwich. The sandwich is made with sliced turkey, ham, and swiss fried in a light batter, dusted with powdered sugar, and served with berry puree.
In the past, you could get this dish at Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans, and it has made our list of some of the BEST food to eat in all of Disneyland. We typically recommend that you do NOT leave Disneyland without enjoying this sweet-and-savory, airy-and-crispy Disneyland classic.
This dish is serious business for die-hard Disneyland fans. If you want to get a taste of this signature sandwich, you can grab it right now at Smokejumpers during A Touch of Disney for $10.99.

Overall
Overall, if you are looking to try a new mac ‘n cheese creation, you’re the type of person who could eat loaded fries all day long, or you are (like many of us) totally in LOVE with Disneyland’s Monte Cristo sandwich, you may want to stop by Smokejumper’s Grill to check out these items.
Keep following along with us as we head around Disney California Adventure and check out all the eats at A Touch of Disney. And keep in mind that Disneyland Park itself and Disney California Adventure will be officially reopening in just over a month.
